    Comments:
I bought my NA back in mid 2007, stock as a rock besides a twin 3 inch exhaust. Though this is bigger than what one should have on an NA, it came with it and power was more than adequate for my needs. Also has twin single exit Lukey mufflers, it is quite loud hence the sale with no roadworthy. I don't have the time to dick about getting it fixed up for roadworthy, hence the cheap sale. Here's a list of what i've done:
    Engine:
Full 100 thousand Km service performed by Joe (now at Dontex, Vermont) Imbesi (300zx expert mech.) in 2007 shortly after purchase (purchased at 97,500, odo jammed for a couple of thousand k's around the 100 thou mark).
I used the kit PLUS the extras pack from Caz (300zx parts guru :) ) http://www.cazracing.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42&products_id=153.
    ---This included---
    - Auto tensioner - NISSAN
    - Idler pulley assy's(2) - NSK/NTN
    - VTC springs(2) - NISSAN
    - Water Pump - NISSAN
    - Thermostat - NISSAN
    - VTC seals(2) - NISSAN
    - Cam/Crank seals(5) - Viton high temp
    - Bypass hoses(2) - NISSAN
    - Crank sprocket spacers front/rear - NISSAN
    - Crank sprocket - NISSAN
    - 3 x drive belts - GATES
    - High Performance 'Gates Racing' Timing belt GATES
    - Nissan OEM Fuel Filter
    - OEM oil filter
I also had an Unorthodox Racing (UR) Underdrive Crank pulley installed with the service, and iridium spark plugs.
Other things i've fixed and upgraded in the engine bay (all new parts):
    - o2 sensors
    - fuel pressure regulator
    - fuel dampner
    - all fuel lines except for underplenum
    - EXTRACTORS from the 2nd round TTZ group buy
    - New knock/detonation sensor.
    - Apexi Power Intake POD filter
***NOTE: ALL connectors are corrosion free after a good clean and retension as checked a few weeks ago***
Also, PERFECT compression across the board, so engine is nice and healthy IMO.
    SUSPENSION
I did a LOT of work on the suspension of my Zed during ownership. As they say, the old adage 'it handles like it's on rails' applies here.
    - Eibach pro kit springs on all corners. Lowered the car by .8 inches so nothing illegal but firmed up the ride (without killing your back like with some cheap coilovers).
    - KYB AGX adjustable shock absorbers, 4 way front and 8 way rear. Check out the link for a full run down. I imported these from the states in a mini group buy with forum member Sandeep.
    COZ
    - PZP (Perth Z Performance) front upper adjustable control arms
    - SPL V2 tension/castor rods - imo the strongest you can get, which is very important when everything is so rigid as it is in my case. LINK HERE
    - Adjustable traction rods
    - Tuneagent adjustable toe in arms
    - Tuneagent adjustable rear upper control arms Link
    - Whiteline Solid anti roll bars front and rear Link
    - Whiteline front adjustable end links for front sway bar (i mostly got this so the bolts would go all the way through the thicker sway bars as stock end links will only grab by a couple of threads)
    - UNINSTALLED NEW diff bushings and rear subframe bushings
    - Lightweight 17X8 front and 17X9 rear Sparco Racing NSII alloys. These have AS NEW 235/45 and 255/40 Maxxis Victra MA-Z1 rubbers. Rims cost me $700, wheels and alignment cost me $900. Professional alignment performed at the local Tyre Power. Dial up the camber a bit more (currently set to maximise tyre life) and she'll handle like a dream.

    MISC:
    - 4300k HID Xenon's installed a little while ago in low beams, they work a dream and i've angled them so as to not blind every bastard on the road :p. Also have good quality Philips super bright globes in the high beams.
    - Custom stereo surround with guages (water temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure) NOT hooked up yet but all hardware there and good to go (including adapter from Z1 to fit water temp sender into top rad. pipe)
    - Mid way through making custom rear speaker boxes, extremely time consuming so only part way through this.
    - Mid way through making custom twin cup holder in centre console
    - Mid way through dying interior tweed black

    BAD POINTS:
    I won't lie, so here's the list:
    - leaking heater core. Was going to replace but need to save up the money for this, too many bills coming in at the moment. For now, just going to bypass.
    - Although this is the lightest of ALL the models, it has NO ABS, NO cruise control etc. This never bothered me but just letting you know. It does however have the automatic climate control.
    - Couple of paint chips in one fender, and some on rear bar. Spoiler has been removed but only mid way through this. Strong tape is covering the holes for now, and third brake light is in the form of an LED strip in the back window. Also front bar has cracked again after i fixed it after purchase.
    - Interior is as current half finished but i can complete if you wish.
    - Very slight oil leak from exhaust cam covers, not big deal and i was going to fix but don't have the money to do a proper plenum pull.
    - Bonnet squeaks a bit, just need new rubber stop things
    - Aerial not working, have it disconnect as it used to shit me
PICTURES: including exterior and shots showing the removed spoiler etc.

[IMG](note: i haven't got the 3rd brake light taped on like that anymore lol!! It's now just the led strip as mentioned)

Oh man, such a shame to see you selling this.. :(:(

As someone who's driven this, I can vouch for it, and to any potential buyer I say; unless you are a bitch and are scared of unfinished interiors, you'll find a fast, aggressive and extremely tight handling NA here!

Loud, responsive and tightly set up, just like an NA should be. Perfect for the track or road.

Thanks for the kind words guys :(

Also forgot to mention, battery tray has a bit of rust. Gearbox is fine but shifting to 2nd from 1st at low revs is a bit hard sometimes...not sure if this is inherent to most gearboxes or not, but give it some gas and it's nice and smooth.
Any other questions feel free to ask, i've tried to be as thorough as I can. Offers considered.

Will also throw in the stock spoiler and good condition 3rd brake light (READ: fantastic condition, NO rust or bubbles AT ALL) with the sale if one so wishes. Can easily be reattached, just need some sikaflex or likewise.

hey mate, are you willing to sell the stock spoiler seperate ?

i'm looking into respraying my zed and not sure about the spoiler.... mines bubbled so if i go with the spoiler i would be needing a new one.

PM sent to keep thread clean. In short (discussion via PM), not until I see what happens with the whole car first, if after a while i've still got it I may change my mind.

NOTE: if someone decides to purchase some of my suspension bits and bobs, I might be able to get a roadworthy cert. for any interested parties, for a lesser price. Any questions please PM or contact me, I am negotiable and the worst case scenario is i'll say no, so no harm in that.
    Cheers

If somebody is genuinely interested I CAN get a roadworthy, but only if you're willing to put a bit of money down on the table so I don't get stuck with a dud certificate in 30 days.

I most likely would be but there is only three problems with it, the price is about right too:

    A) Its a J-spec
    B) It doesn't have a RWC
    C) Its modded (Exhaust)

    C) is a big no no with new P plate laws.

Yeah man i'm a P plater too, never had any issues. Got a full check over by the side of the road from an unmarked cop car too and they didn't find anything wrong. Also as stated i can get a RWC if a deposit is made, but happy to look after all of that if i have a definite buyer. As for being a j-spec, well i can't change that. Can't fix what ain't broke :D:D:D

Yeah, but you're a green P plater where mods were allowed as long as you kept to the 140Kw:Tonne power to weight ratio, I'm under the new tight ass law where no performance mods at all are allowed (Includes exhaust) and 125Kw:Tonne power to weight ratio.

Going by what you've listed, looks like you've taken care of it though :)

Only thing that worries me about the J-Spec is that its considered a "jap import" to insurance, where-as Aus-Spec isn't. But considering its <$10K it'd only be worth going 3rd party... damn you for making me think but most likely not :)

When getting quotes for my insurance they wanted to charge the same for an aus spec as a jspec so there isnt a huge difference...

    Lol

There is no difference, I think thats either an old story / old news thats changed or fully goes off your insurer just being tossers, cause mine charges the same.

They may charge the same, but you're limited to certain insurers with a j-spec. I think some people might get a bit ripped off with an import because Just Cars probably knows they're one of the only groups that'll linsure them. As a 19 year old last year, a paid around 2 grand, WITHOUT a lock up garage and a few listed mods.
