Just a heads up to those thinking about doing their 100K services, I have noticed that the timing belt idler pulleys on just about every Z I have done a 100K service on lately have been excessively noisy and hence cactus.

So I would strongly recommend including the timing belt idler pulleys when you purchase your 100K service kit.

they are supposed to be part of the 200K service. but maybe they just arent lasting that long.

i recently did this, and having the old and new sitting next to each other the difference was unbelievable - unless mine was just really bad!

I can confirm this with my own experience Pete.

The 200k service is due on my Ausspec and the pulleys are very noisy. Also, I have all the receipts when the 100k service was done about 5 or 6 years ago and they were not replaced then.

    Cheers,

    Peter

Did one today and the pulley's where rough, not grinding, but not far off

130K apperntly... And the 100K was done at 70K, I'm not convinced though...
