Not necessarily a 180sx. But I want something that

will a bit easier to work on as a weekend track warrior. I'm thinking 1 turbo, 1 BOV, 1 exhaust system, heaps of second hand parts etc.

But I take your point, you can't really compare the 180 to a 300:zlove: .

The Bad News: unforeseen circumstances mean that I will not be in a position to get a track car for a while .

Bump - JET is back on the market.

I have other plans which mean the zed is up for sale. The reduced asking price of $14000 ono is a sad reflection on the price of zeds at the moment.

I'd describe her as being in excellent condition and I'll hate to see her go.

Work done since it was listed six months ago include:

Apexi 20mm lowering springs fitted to rear to complement the RSR lowering springs on the front

Tyres rotated (f-f, r-r) and wheel alignment done

Service including 100% synthetic oil and new filter at 125000 kms

Paintless dent repair on minor pin dent to rear quarter panel.

Speedo currently at 127xxx kms.

I'm holding off placing an ad on Carsales.com for a week or two to give forum zedders first option. ATM one of our friends on the forum is inspecting her on Saturday morning. I'll be at home over the weekend as well as Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week if you want to drop over.

 

SOLD. Sad day for me but I am happy to say that

JET's new owner is a forum member, a zed enthusiast and a nice guy too. No doubt he will announce his zed ownership soon.

I just want to thank you guys and girls on the forum for being such a huge help over the past 3 years and for your friendship. I especially want to thank Mark (Zed4life) and Rob (k-zed) for going beyong the call of duty and putting up with a newbie like me:bow2:. Also Barry(Baz), Greg (Pexzed), Trev (Heavytrevy), and Pete (Fleet) - you guys have all been awesome:thumbup:

Who knows, I might be back in zed. They tell me zeds are addictive. Time will tell.
