What the hell. Do you mean BEET? You got it within 5 weeks???

Did it come from Japan? Cause there was a GB on the BEET kit a while ago and 5 of us are still waiting for the kit to arrive from Japan. I think they must be swimming it over ;)

And yeah, looks hot hey. I'm looking for a R34 GT-t wing at the moment, cause I think it really compliments it.

What front bar did you get? Abflug?

As for place, I'm looking at these guys when mine arrives, they have very good reps and do alot of custom cars you see in the mags (though probably pricey). There are probably others to look at, these two I remember, I can't remember the 3rd I was going to look into, have their name at home:

    Vulcan Panel & Paint
    Unit 6 / 14 Vulcan Rd
    Canning Vale
    Ph: (08) 9456 3311
    Fax: (08) 9456 3311
    Mobile: 0403 341 618

    Gino's Carcraft Panel & Paint
    228 Hampton Rd
    South Fremantle
    Ph: (08) 9430 7288

I'm also gonna speak with a friend of mine's dad. He does great work too from what i've heard. I think a couple of guys on the forum may have had stuff done with him? Worth approaching for a quote in any case.

    Yangebup Panel & Paint
    2 Cooper Rd, Jandakot
    PH: (08) 9417 3555
Guys name is Marc, you can tell him you know Vaughan (and he'll probably have a chuckle and tell ya I'm a tosser LMAO, he has an "interesting" sense of humor)

mmm well WA might become the home of the wide bodied zx's. The kit looks awesome

will be great to see when its done, however many of the body shops have lenghty waits, as insurance work is far more profitable to them

its jst the way of the fraudulent world

oh and get the door handles shaved!!

Vaughan - I highly doubt any carcraft shop will touch fibreglass work. Aren't they smash repairs? I've heard good things about vulcan PnP. And BBK, I think they did all the work on Clara's car and her panel/paint work is mint.

if your actually serious about getting a r34 GT-T wing they are available in japan .

not a cheap item tho... unless your willing 2 purchase a second hand one

You telling me for $4000 the BEET kit is only fiberglass, not urethane or something more durable for that kind of money

    You better clarify ZX89 ;)

    Cheers!

even consider doing a bit of a drive round to various panel and paint shops to get prices and see the quality of their work.
i did this last year - no one was interested as all they wanted was insurance work.

Hmm, that carcraft shop was talked about in Perth street car or Perth street machine or whatever it's called and they'd done up some Holden or other really nice...But it might not have been fiberglass. Plus I don't know what it being a carcraft shops means haha, do they not do body kits?.

Yep, all the beet kits are glass, even the originals. Urethane fenders would collapse in the sun and would be a beatch to mould to the body as they shrink/expand so much with the heat.
