if you worked it out to be roughly 2.4hp per 1kg shaved off, that equated to around 9.6rwhp

how the hell did one guy get 37rwhp, and another get 28rwhp..
    porky pies?

using your calcuation even 20rwhp which is a common figure thrown around seems hard to achieve..

I'm assuming that estimation figure came from a non-turbo application. 9.6whp gains are very close to the proven gains from a NA. I'm guessing that turbos act as a multiplier for this. I can't do anything but provide dyno's for the gains that TT's experience. They will free up slightly less power than the GFB/UR Ultra S/ etc pullies because they aren't underdriven and weigh slightly more, but I think you will find the differences are marginal at worst, whereas the advantages of this type of pulley are clear.

TT Power Steering, TT Alternator, TT Water pump.

Just want to get something straight, im still learning all this stuff......so if i sound dumb....well then i am..lol

A TT zed requires a TT power steering, but if they are deleting the HICUS as either to shave weight off the car or that its a stupid annoying system then you need to go for a NA power steering pulley.....correct?....and all other pulleys just stay the same for a TT....

btw off topic but is the HICUS of any benifit?

Also i havnt had a chance to look but do the timing belt covers hide these pulleys or any other covers, or are they exposed......just asking as im in for the crank pulley but since the $ to HP gain isnt that much for the others the only reason to buy them would be really for looks so you have a matching pulleys...

    cheers

I have corrected your spelling in bold letters :)

It depends. Some people (like myself) remove the TT P/S pump and replace it with a NA P/S pump. Therefore you need a NA P/S pump pulley. Others have done the TT pump mod (see tech section) which means you keep the TT P/S pump.

IMO, no. HICAS is only effective at high speeds. Some people find it annoying and unpredictable when doing track work.

No the pulleys are not behind the covers.

    Cheers,
    Dave

This GB will still not be going forward till we have at least 30 confirmed people. I'm just collecting all the info now so I'm prepared if it happens.

Come on 3 more people. I really want this pulley (I'd buy the last 3 spots if I had the money spare).

lol....yer a bit off subject still..

just wanted to know exactly why the TT p/s pump was replaced by the na one....is there any benifit....just so i exactly know what pulleys i need.....

yes i do look ahead..lol....so ahead this aint even going in my current zed...

It has already been explained. The NA pump is used in a full hicas removal. The offsets in the pullies are different. An NA one is thus required. Hicas removal is done for a multitude of reasons all of which have been discussed a beeeellllliiiiiiioooooonnnnn times on this forum and are readily available via search.

I have 19 PM's atm. +me, so 20 people who are at least half serious.

We need @ least 30 people for me to even think about bothering for this to proceed (would mean I have to buy 10 extras), but is a lot more likely @ 35+.

    Cheers.

If we dont get the numbers....

If we dont get the 30 ppl or more to get over the line, why dont we organise a GB through CZP (or their AU representative)(Link) I know the Underdirve kits arent the same as the one we are all waiting on now, but the difference is not huge in my opinion....

im fine with this but im taking that the reason many arnt in this is due to the time of the year......end of year is a hard time to find extra cash with xmas and holidays etc......

i saw just sit back for a bit and we shall hit the numbers required......i wouldnt go for the other one reheem.....just because in the back of my mind im thinking man i want the best for the zed.....thats just me thou:p
