***Heater Cores***

OK guys, the other group buy thread I've been promising for a while now... for those of you that missed this thread http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=262901 in Z-Related, there has been alot of interest in replacement heater cores. Problem with the Nissan ones is they 1)cost a fortune and 2)even new ones have been known to fail.

UAS have offered an awesome group buy price on the replacement cores that they use, which are approximately 10mm thicker than Nissan cores and have had no problems reported to date. Due to being thicker, these cores will require you to die grind the recess (roughly half an hour in labour) where they sit in order to fit.

Price, freight and availability
List price on these is $150, but for a group buy of five or more cores our price will be $85/core.

Freight will be $15 anywhere in AUS, well packaged and insured.

These cores are in stock and ready to send now so the lead time depends on how long it takes five people to put their hand up. I don't think this will take too long...

How to order
To place your order I will need a 50% deposit paid to me (please PM for bank details), with the remaining 50% due when the group buy is closed. I know some people are in a hurry for their heater cores so we will start sending these out as soon as five deposits have been received.

Group buy will close in four weeks on monday 23rd July, but as stated above we will start sending cores once five orders have been received.

Taps/Valves
A few people asked about replacement valves in the Z-Related thread. Most of the time you can re-use your old valve, but there is no way to know for sure until the core has been removed. I have some pricing on the way for those interested in a new valve to go with their cores.

OK for those who are after a complete assembly including valve, this can be supplied for an extra $118.

No way to know for sure if the tap is in OK condition until it is removed... John @ UAS reckons that most of the time the taps are OK.
