Hey All, Need some advise; running a s2 (1996 I believe) motor with a S1 ECU, and S2 Loom which came with the motor. Had some electrical issues specifically with the AFM. Decided that i would order a bunch of new connector to not only freshen it up, but resolve any other issues as pieces were falling apart Now i had this down to a broken wire in the loom somewhere but after investigation it looks like it may not be. but i have realized that there are some wiring differences between the looms. Should i be following the S1 ECU pinout; and thus redo the wiring to match?
Should i be following the S1 ECU pinout... yes. the s2 loom wont have connectors for the vct egr and some other stuff but the pinouts should be the same afaik.
