I hear you Adam, two kids here too means pretty much no zed money! Grab some polish from work & just have a crack mate, it'll look loads better & offer protection especially over summer with the baking sun. Claybar kit & polish is all you need (& plenty of elbow grease!)

As for arms, grab some cheap Midori style ones or look at the GK tech ones I run. If I bit more budget look at Rob's group buy too. Or just change the bushes in your stock ones. Nismo arms are just stock arms with Nismo bushes, can be sorted much cheaper when needed. Good luck mate!

    Try these upper arms: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Adjusta...=item2606afe42a:g:upAAAOSwYHxWFaNZ:rk:12:pf:0

Tas Autosport are a really good local parts supplier and if you use the code P5OFF you can get these for $133 delivered to your door.

No way I would be paying $600 for stock upper arms delivered from the US. I have been running the Midori style arms since 2007. Yes they don't compensate for the twisting motion etc etc but car has done around 60,000kms since and no issues.

Alternatively people are basically giving away the stock camber arms, hit up Jamie Cole he'll probably have like 3 sets with ok bushes ready for the bin since no one wants them.

thanks for the suggestions and links guys i went to get an alignment done with the purchase of 2 new front tyres and they said there is no point doing the alignment with the stuffed bushes i currently have. i was thinking about getting nismo bushes and retro fitting to my stock arms or buy a second hand unit that have good bushes which you guys have suggested. I did a quick search on ebay for z spares but there was nothing but aftermarket and brand new arm parts to buy. i guess z spares are getting harder to find. along with the arms i need 2 x new rear tyres soonish ($300+) 2 x new front rotors ($90), fixing leaks on the steering rack, the list goes on and it never ends.

I’ll have the V3 pivoting arms in stock as of Jan 2 and can still fit people in on the group buy. Will also have a perfectly good set of V1 arms coming off my car if you want those and cheap.

Replaced my Z32's knock sensor and harness today. While I planned to only change the harness, the knock sensor was
dead. Previous owner had used silicone to glue it back together. The pin connection was barely touching the main contact. Surprising it lasted as long as it did. As I've owned the car for the last 3 years and it only started playing up these last couple of months.
    ------
The timing belt idle pulley attached to the lower intake makes for a massive dissemble. Though I did manage to short cut with only taking the water pipes off and then clamping the belt to the cams with the clamps resting against the timing cover bolts to stop any movement. The idle pulley slides away easy after that. Unscrewing it's stud and the lower intake is free. :)

Nothing. Poor old things looking a bit haggard at the moment. Had some bad weather take out the gazebo I had over it so it damaged the clear coat down one side, but also the bumpers taken a few puppy teething marks so the paints needing work. And on top of that ive noticed some issues around the top of the windscreen... fml.

On a positive note, jump start the battery and she will always kick and idle perfectly =)

Started putting my engine back in. Well I got it back in, but that's as far as I got.

Took ages with the SZ sump being flat bottom with square edges, didn't slide in over the x-member like stock. Ended up dropping it, then had to 'clearance' the PS hardline aswell.

Also, I had the dumps off to remove the dividers and re-wrap them. Turns out that there is just enough adjustment in the dump bolt holes to effect clearance between the rails.

I installed a clock delete plate because everybody knows the clock rarely works. It actually turned out better than I thought it would. I also removed the rear wiper and installed a wiper delete plug to give the car that cleaner look
