Wow gumtree seems full of scammers and lowballers - had an offer of $3k!

Is it worth paying the $$ for carsales?

 

zeds are tough to sell these days, you have to wade through the trolls and lowballers to find a buyer. take your time, and ignore the fools.

theres not much point advertising on carsales if your on other sites like gumtree, people who are looking know to check a few places to find what they are after.

 

Yeah not after a quick sale so biding my time. My first time selling a car in Oz so all new to me.

Just wondered if less crap comes through Carsales than Gumtree just to save my time/bandwidth!

 

I found I got a better quality of buyers through carsales.
Not too bad for a few hundred bucks and they provide you with sales stickers to put on your car.
Gumtree harbours a fair bit of trash/trolls.
