I'm hoping I can get a read too once installing all the larger pipework and TB's on my existing 98 tune to see if there's a HP or torque gain anywhere.
I dunno, i have not really done anything for years. I will however have a zed to bring along for the first time in like 5 years.
Adding in a Zeitronix ec2 with innovative motorsports ethanol content guage and fuel temp gauge Front under brace Installing the PLX dual widebands finally and PLX oil pressure on the spare oil tree port
I know you've invested quite a bit into the zed already, but if you're truly going for speed at the snowy or temora, there are better vehicles for it for a lot less investment than what you'll be putting in.
No, you'd spend more on a Lambo chasing that 300km/hr over the km. Stock form mine would be in the 21 second, 270Km/hr bracket. 800Hp out of an Evo or Golf R DG, or similar will get you there. You have an evo don't you?
After putting around and giving the Evo a bit of a run on 300awkw I sorta wish I invested the $$ into it. For the cash I put into the zed id have a 500awkw sequential box Evo But, this is more just to get the zed where I wanted it to be. The best platform for this event if I had to pick would be a 32GTR with a 2spd sequential and some spastic engine
2spd sequential or auto? Either way you might want a leat one more gear for top end. Once you go e85 you would have to be near the 500rwkw make wouldn't you? Toss a ppg gear set in and some bigger tyres and your set for some fun. Though you will still have to walk it off the line at snowy and such with the unprepped surface. :br:
yeah the 5 speed with 4.10 is no good for the snowy 3.69 is needed with 750rwhp to get close if only there was a 6 speed sequential KIT for the Z .
Bit like the blokes in the states doing the 1 mile racing, dont see much with power under 4 digits (american) being anywhere near competitive.
