    Hi,

Turns out I have to make my own surge tank... I've got solid works to a point I can have all sides lazercut with holes for an fittings to be welded (I'm a newb). I'm mounting it on the hicas lockout bar using tabs either side (bolting to the two big hicas bolts). 2+2

I can make it 3 litres or two and a half. Is bigger better? Walbro is lift Pump and Magnafuel 4303 is the pressure pump.

Thoughts suggestions? I'm making a mockup out of cardboard will post pics later

If it fits, there are no cons

What fittings do you have for the stock tank feed and return to the surge tank. Will 5/16 hose flow enough (it's not under pressure)?

I've already destroyed one fuel tank hat. Holley hydramat won't flow enough hence surge tank

My main tank to surge tank feed are stock size and stock barb.

My surge tank overflow back to main tank is also stock size and stock barb.

My fuel rail return to main tank (because as recommended by Fuelab for the fegulator to work correctly) is -6 braid and -6 bulkhead fitting.

Just be aware that fitting a surge tank requires Engineering compliance certificate
