What a FANTASTIC day! Great weather, fantastic roads and beautiful 300ZXs. : I think this should be called the 3 Mountains Cruise ....... heaps of fun twisties over Mt Mee, Mt Glorious & Mt Nebo. Thanks to Karl (90TTZ) for organising the cruise and Al (ztoy) for guiding us along the route. All up was 250-300km for most of us over the course of the day, well worth it! Was fun seeing the best of the west as we cruised around arguably the 3 best mountain roads in SE QLD. Pics to come soon, maybe some vids too! :zlove:
Such a great way to spend a Sunday. . Good to see all cars, drivers and licenses home in one piece haha. First cruise day with you guys, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Thanks for the great day guys.

Could not have asked for a better day, the weather was PERFECT!!!! Of course the day could not have been as good as it was if not for the people that showed up. Think there was about 12 Z's which is a good number to manage when going through topography like we did. Massive thanks to Ztoy for being our guide, you did a splendid job mate and the pace was spot on. Concur with oohowash, you've done a great engine swap with your Z. Agree with you Mr G, we should mark this as the inaugural 3 mountains cruise to be held on the last day of winter annually.
Cheers guys. Its been a good 2 years since I've had a zed on the road to do a cruise so I was more than happy to lead the pack. I'm glad the pace was good for you all. When it was safe to, I tried to keep the speed interesting but not dangerous. This was LSzeds first serious trip and she performed beautifully. So much torque and that sound when the boot gets buried is fantastic. As stated today's weather couldn't have been better. The traffic was good with most people moving over for the convoy. It was a great drive. It was good to see old friends and meet some new ones. Ill pull apart the video footage later in the week and see if there is anything good in it. Most of it is of ZXR300's front end but there should be some good direction change shots where all of us can be seen. Thanks for a fantastic day. QLD's zed spirit is still alive :zlove:
