hi guys , is there any word on the next Philip island track day , i was just thinking about that , i think its every 5 or 6 years ? so when would the next one be ? hopefully we can get more out there , and i dont blow up my shat lol
Do you mean the Nissan Zed Nationals?? If you do, the last ones were held in 2013 (when your engine decided to stop working, bugger). And they come back to Vic every 6 years, so the next event wont be until 2019. And even then, there is no guarantee that it will be at Phillip Island. But Im sure who ever is on the NDSOC committee at that time will try their hardest to get it back at Phillip Island. There are other race events at Phillip Island during the year. You should speak to Pete (Wykked) as he will know a lot more about the motorsport side of things than I will. Cheers
Yeah thats the one i mean . 2019 thats a long way away. yeah i more enjoy it when there is zeds there . For me thats where the fun is. Well there are a few melbourne cars that should be ready for that then. Im not keen to smash another engine so hope ill be ready by then.
Alex, the next track day at P.I. for NDSOC members is likely to be in July this year, but the date is till to be confirmed. The next one locked in with a confirmed date is Saturday 12th Sept this year (though the way MSCA is chopping and changing on the run that may change too.) As Jedi says, the next Victorian Nissan/Zed Nationals will be in 2019. Location obviously not yet known.
Ok thank you sir. There is no chance ill be ready for anything this year or next. We will see what happens the year after. But still would much prefer our zed guys there. Would love to see mark chaddy and tekky + etc etc on the track bring back the fun days
