    Looks **** good Nial.

A package arrived for me today....could only be one thing...:D

I asked Jesse to make sure the seller packed it with extra padding and I'm sure Jesse himself did the same as I didn't want to experience what Vince did...

Connected the new PTU and redid the wiring loom, put the battery on charge for the night.
There's a silver z32 out the front dropping my neighbour off, **** I miss that sound.

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

The air mode door on the heater/AC system stopped working a long time ago but it stopped in a kind of neutral position which was ok as there was air coming out of every vent.
Just the demisters didnt work too well. Final straw today was the heater refused to work at all. Its cold here in southern Tassie in the winter mornings so no fun at all with frozen toes....
I decided to get into it today and sort it.
After some testing it turns out the AC/heater ecu has died in some way.

Luck has it that i had a spare that i swapped in and the heater controls worked again.
However, the mode door was still not working so i plugged another spare in to test.
So swap the mode door servos out and by fark thats a pita of a time consuming kent of a job......
I took the seat out to make additional room and finally got at arse of a thing swapped.
Yay, heater is alive and kicking again and directing air where it should go!!!!

Sat down with a pair of tweezers and fixed some slightly bent fins on my intercoolers. Looks 100% better and god as new. Will pressure test them to 40psi tonight.

Lots of work to do tidying things up on my setup/car.

    Starting weight reduction this weekend.

Had a leaky power steering hi pressure hose replaced, fixed up a stripped and cross threaded alternator bracket bolt up, no more crunchy granola sounds now.

They are just the standard covers like show at the top of this pic.

They can be installed with bonnet on, but is easier to remove the original items with bonnet off. I also removed the bonnet to do some other jobs ;)
