Saw this photo ages ago & have just been keeping my eye out.

Also spent some time over the weekend blocking back body parts ready for primer, hope to have that sorted over the next week.

Well nice to finally be able to update this thread, literally nothing has happened the last 12 months because I moved to europe for work but I'm home now & getting back into it!
First up I bought a new exhaust, ages ago, an Abflug Power Superior. Had wanted one for ever but they're rare as hens teeth. 3" stainless catback & quality is top notch.
Arrived dirty as fark, gave it a good wash then got my polish on. Mothers powercone attachment & polish worked wonders.

On the left is one side after a wash but before polish, rhs is ready to go.

Both sides after a good polish, H pipe in the background.

& after much swearing laying on my back in the driveway, all fitted up

The sound is awesome, absolutely love it.

Then today shot around to see Graham for a good service & once over, oil/filter & good flush of the coolant system. Also took the opportunity to fit some parts that had been sitting on the shelf. Gloss black shaved timing belt covers went on with 'wanky bolts' as Graham took to calling them & also new coolant water pipes that I'd cleaned all the casting marks up on & painted with wrinkle black. Cars running great & definitely recommend tektrader if your in melbourne & need a service.

That exhaust looks absolutely awesome. Love it. Best looking exhaust for the zed imo, and from what i have been told, are one of the best sounding. When you get a chance, a sound clip would be appreciated ;). Quality additions as always Tim!

Cheers for the compliments guys :D Spent another afternoon in the garage, certainly nice to be home! Engine bays all tidied up, don't worry procky, I think we've got fairly different themes going here so your chrome king title is safe!

Plenum's letting the side down now but have a spare so will get that fixed up later down the track.

Found my door striker covers which I'd bought ages ago so chucked them on too. It's a little touch but certainly cleans up the strikers.

Then the big job was to fit some bose rear boxes & new alpine 6.5" speakers. Literally dismantle the whole rear of the interior to get to the strut towers...

    & all back together again

Will see what I can do about a sound clip Erik & will definitely fire it up for you Dean!

Not a chance Anti, find your own! Zeo it's just your standard ah3 cherry red pearl (or burgundy as most call it) just cleaned & polished, I agree it looks great!

Also big props to Dean who drove all the way out to the outer s.e. suburbs yesterday to drop off some parts for me, champion effort!

Ever get around to getting a sound clip of that exhaust?

    Nah, I'm lazy :D

My main issue is I can't drive the car at the moment, the mold I'd made of my custom wing had been damaged while I was in europe so I've remade the clay wing on the car. Hopefully have the new mold made asap, been collecting materials, as cant start the car & risk the clay vibrating loose.

Well overdue an update in here, finally have some painted parts! Twinz rear bar, genuine 2k skirts & abflug mirrors. Just a couple quick shots, still a little more to do before I can fit them up though. (like wash the car...)

    BLACK BEAST SLICKTOP TT R-SPEC

    That looks great .

I still cant decide whether to do my diffuser part in satin black or gloss jet black like the rest of the car .

Looks good... Will be interested to see fitted I've got the same bar/skirt combo in mind

    cheers guys!

Definitely don't do body colour, satin black or a (very) dark grey would be the way to go imo. Mine's a dark charcoal metallic as a black would be too harsh against the cherry red.

If you want photos rob check out Articdragon192's build thread with his dark blue 2+2 (stack of photo on 3zc too). He's got the twinz under skirts too though.
Wouldn't be exactly the same combo though as no genuine 2 seater skirts :D
