Finally defeated my O2's last night. Another custom tool to add to the toolbox Aaaaand I'm going to need a new 22mm spanner.
i dont get how guys are cutting up the 22mm spanner for the 02s when i got mine off with a normal 22? :S maybe my constant drenching of them in crc did the trick lewl
Where did you get this from? I thought they had stopped making this. A while ago people were looking for this setup.:zlove:
Japan. Been looking for a long time now but finally got one. As you said, they don't make it anymore so this is second hand and used.
Twice as much as it's worth I'd say, but still half as much as I was willing to pay...I'm stupid like that.
Go on tell us just how stupid you are ? At least you went stupid on something interesting, unique item, good brand and very few around. You realise its missing $5 worth of bushes ?
Without commission and postage, about $560...so throw a couple of hundred on top to be in my hands. My max bid was 100k yen. The last one I saw sell went for $350 I think but that was years ago. With two mins to go it was looking sweet. Only my bid existed at 35k yen, then some knob head max bid 53k yen And I had to watch it count down another seven mins. Yeah, I asked Jesse if he could ask the seller if he has them and to also make sure the parts are wrapped separately. We don't want a repeat with what happened to Vincent now. if the seller doesn't have them, are they easy to get? This is the picture I showed him and asked if the seller had the two brown pieces;
awesome Erik, glad you got it mate! Worst case with those shifter bushes you could get some machined up pretty easy if stock doesn't fit.
This them? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=608&Car_Type=NIS300&UID http://www.thenismoshop.com/Nissan-...-30P00--Nissan-300ZX-Z32-1990-1996_p_418.html http://www.zspeedperformance.com/90-96-300zx-OE-Shifter-Bushings-pair-34139-30p00.htm
Is measure it up first, the bushings aren't expensive by any means but measure twice shop once as they say...
^ agreed, definitely wait till it's in your hands Erik. Or if your too busy just have it posted to me...
Thanks. i'm not too worried. If the seller can supply the ones that were used when it was installed then i'll those, otherwise i'll just wait until it's time to install the gearbox. I have heard it is a bitch to use. I will see how it goes, if I hate it, I'll lend it to Tim to use until he hates it too at which point it will become a decorative piece on my shelf.
Put it back down on the ground ready for the motor to come out. Motor requires alot of work in the oil sealing department. Will post up pics of the 11.2 motor.... Looks like its ready for the scrap bin. Lots of work to do but it's good to be getting my hands dirty again.
