If that were a valve spring it would shred the timing belt
If that were a coil over spring you might as well not have one at all
If that were a hicas spring the wheels would not change direction at all


Must be from the Turbocharger.......

 

Thats not a bad guess - quite feasible although it would need more than 3psi to move it - maybe its for a super duper parallel and sequential turbo setup

Looks like a double spring one too. You must have a massive valve lift to require those.
