Drove it out of the shed to test fit a body kit component. Realized it was going to take way to much effort to fit right. Now in need of tt front bar. :(

What front bar were you trying to fit?

Stock na bar that I've already got cleaned up modified slightly and painted lol.

The stillen front lip was a real after thought. Lol. Knew I was going to have to be modified for it to work, but its just doing to take too long. Will run with what I have for the moment while I get some other work out of the way.

Ideally need a tt bar to make it work, just don't want to put the 20 odd hours of work into re-modifying the bar. Eventually I will have to though.

Alternatively ill make a glass copy of it and rework it to suit an na bar from behind. Much prefer the tt stillen lip profile over the na lip profile. Type 3 I'm talking also.

Continues stripping down the tt block.

    Spark plug tubes removed.
    Rear heater pipes removed.
One coolant pipe removed, the other nearly done.
    Started removing the timing cover.

Words cannot describe how glad i am that my tt block isnt in a zed. Goodness knows how you people remove a timing cover in bay lol

While you have it apart, you should modify the timing cover so you can remove it with the coolant pipes still attached :)

Nah ill be ditching this timing cover. Ill be making a custom one down the track, and until then ill be using no timing cover. Yes i know thats risky :p

I'd actually love one of these - only one for sale all year was it?

What's with the hatch mat mat mat...mat?

Was another a few weeks ago, to suit a 2+2. Haven't been trolling yahoo as religiously as I used to, but never seen a 2+0 come up for sale before.

What's with the hatch mat mat mat...mat?

Thought that would be pretty self-explanatory. Deep down, every Z owner wishes they had a mat to protect their hatch mat. Especially considering the condition most hatch mats are in, having not had protection.

And yes.... if another ever comes up for sale, I will buy it, and fit as a hatch mat mat protector mat

I'll see if I can find that 2+2 version...
