  1. Wizard

    Wizard Kerb side Prophet

Came late, left early, didn't do any work,
East coast Zed seemed to be the busiest in and out of a few cars with the lap top.
Good to see some old faces and meet some new ones, Zedmd Anthony would have been the most travelled from Canberra.:)

Have to say a MASSIVE thankyou to those who helped out with everything on my Z! Came there with a few parts just hoping to get my O2's done, but left with not only those done, my HKS ALC installed (thanks Nem), my clear indicators installed with Andy's great effort. Biggest thanks that I could give would be to Steve (Zedman) who helped with everything that was done on my car.

Thanks for the day, and those who organised it. Was an awesome day and great to meet those of you who turned up, and some amazing Z's.

GREAT THANK YOU to all who attended... great to see Almost-No-Work Wizard lying about not doing any work - he did, both under my car and with advice above. Thanx Wiz...
Big thank you to Pennyarvs for doing all the organising for the day and getting down and dirty with several jobs; and an especial thank you to Arvin and his wife for providing the chicken - much appreciated by all, mate!
Weather was kind and a lot of catching-up and meeting/greeting was enjoyed. My personal thanks to young Central Coast apprentice mechanic Ben, the ever-helpful AndyMac, and Pennyarvs for the finger-crushing job of replacing a burst cooling hose behind the engine of my ever-problem-providing Zed....!!! Thanks, guys... I'm really very grateful!
In all, a pretty good day... some bartering and sell-and-swap took place, thanks mainly to Graham, and I think a few guys got some good gear. Good to see honorable Oni-san pop in to show us that the Blue Oval is still rolling like new; hope your folks are well, Geoffo, as I didn't get a chance to chat.
Thanks again, guys... I hope you all had a good day.

Yes its the one with the powerglide sits at about 3600rpm at 110kms, drove it to Newcastle last week it loves it but I do want to swap the diff from the 4.09 thats in it to a 3.7 which should drop the rpm to just over 3000 and yes it is still for sale if somebody was interested if not I will just keep it

    Hey SRB.

First a massive thanks to the lads for all the help, got a great idea of where attack the car next.
Would have posted yesterday, but internet was down all day. But hey at least this way you get a big thank you from me, on my birthday =)

Second, SRB, the boys found nothing wrong with my coil packs so we ended up just switching mine around. When I went to put Wizards laptop and tools back in his car, I came back to mine to find my tools neatly packed up. I only brought the one tool box and was nothing else lying around.

Let me know if anyone PM's you saying where they packed up the coil pack you lent us for testing. I will double check tonight to make sure no one packed it with my things, but on the day I checked everything was in it's place and brought everything back to owners. If no one picked it up and we left it there, or it doesn't turn up, I will pay for the set.

Where did you have it? You were parked almost opposite the spare unit door weren't you?? I'll be going in to the factory tomorrow for a while so will have a check around... nobody would have put it IN the shed would they?? Anyway I'll check.... and, Happy Birthday! :):)

    Thanks Mike,

Yeah we were up the very frist few spots. Everything was on the brick wall infront of the gum tree. When I was packing up Wizards gear, rolled the extention cord and packed up his laptop etc someone helped pack all my gear up, it was neat and tidy with all my tools back in their spots.

Wife took me out for suprise dinner in the city last night, so haven't been home yet. Will check my car tonight also in case some's dropped it in there.
