VIC 2013 Nissan Nationals.....>>

This is the contents of an email from the NDSOC vice president announcing that the 2013 Nats will be held at Phillip Island, so start getting organised.

Hi Everyone,

Your committee have been hard at work and are please to announce we have secure Phillip Island as our destination for the 2013 Nissan Datsun Nationals.
Open to all Nissan/Datsun vehicles, the welcome bbq/registration will be Friday 29th March, the track day Saturday March 30 and the Concours/Show and Shine and presentation dinner will be Sunday March 31st.

As Easter and the island is a very popular combination, please feel free to start sourcing accommodation. The island has it's own website with accom links- http://www.visitbasscoast.com/accomgrid_condensed.asp?Adults=2&Location=Phillip Island and San Remo but once we have more detials we will advise.

I'm definitely coming...but was just wondering if we would doing the same thing as zedfest in regards to accomodation? Or would everybody need to organise that on their own?

2009 nationals....

At the 2009 nationals at Phillip Island, most of us stayed at the one location. It was organised by forum member Bigbaz at the time.

Staying at the one location is fine, but it requires one person to step up and do the organising between the venue and the forum members. It can be an onerous task as I'm sure the guys who have planned previous zedfests can attest to...

2009 we were at Warwick Also fun!!

 

I will be there for sure - haven't been to Phillip Island yet so will be a good excuse to go

Going to organise a big cruise in or...?

 

ProckyZ is down for this as well and the group accomodation idea sounds like the go..
ill see if i can get intouch with a few ZEDDERS down there who may be able to liase accomodation for us at a venue.

AS for a cruise down that way perhaps later on would be the time to organise that however i would love to meet up with everyone and cruise down together. (sydney siders) will have to come down my way anyway lol

 

im going thats 100%. no cheap accommodation shit for me im going full house setup in a part just out of cows

There's plenty of different websites for houses- phillip island rentasl and judith someone real estate (thompson i think).
Glad you are all keen- it's taken near on a year to get the track but well worth the wait. If there's ever a track you are going to drive 1000+ kms for, it's P/I. And... I will even do my very best not to roll......
