VIC Aust Hill Climb Champs 27/10/11

The Australian Hill Climb Championships will be held from the 27th to the 30th of October at Bryant Park in Morwell. The Thursday is untimed practice and the Friday is qualifying, with the serious runs over the weekend. The course this year will be a reverse figure 8, which will be a first for most of the competitors. I will be competing along with some of the best hill climbers in Australia, and the venue is brilliant for spectators so if you have the day free and feel like a nice drive in the country then come on down. You will also get to see the 6 litre all-wheel drive 260Z of Kevin Mackrell, and if you think it is impressive on youtube it is better in real life.

If you happen to bump into Kevin Mackrell or you might already know the answer to this, what AWD system does he use and what automatic transmission was he using ?, I read some where that he has converted to manual because of heat issues with the auto.
