A thread where you can tell us/show us all what you have done to your zed!

Can be anything from a full on engine pull to simply cleaning it/ driving it. Whatever it is show us!

Hopefully this will get us more actively involved in what we are all doing and sharing the little tips and tricks we have discovered while playing with this wonderful machine...the 300zx!

Ill get the ball rolling with what i did today....

Added some vinyl stripes to the bonnet/nose panel and painted my throttle cover black! Iv got tape covering the words and the "NISSAN" letters will be done in international orange.

Received my aus300zx stickers today, whacked them onto it.

I also got bored so jumped in the boot and took some panels off and had a look at how i'd go changing the lights. Upon doing so I discovered that the boot had a rollable shade  I'm such a noob.

    Murci,

Just took my throttle cover off as after seeing what you've done i've decided to do the same. Out of curiousity, is there a certain paint you used to do it? I've been told about heat resistant paints, not to use normal spray paint as it could overheat and melt/combust and a whole lot of other shit. Is anyone able to clarify this?

    Cheers,

    Jamie

I spent some of the day removing my rear bar and prepping my rear quater pannel, it had a deep dent and a aireal hole which is all welded and filled in now.

Whats best process in regards to prepping new plastic/urtathane body kit parts for paint ?

    B. I've had to much to drink to contemplate A.
