When I was measuring up for the SS T-Bolt clamp GB, I realised that my SMIC hoses were well and truly "past their use by date" It's easy to overlook what you can't see

They were anything but supple, and I realised that I'd probably need a hacksaw to get them off, so I decided it was time to replace them before the inevitable boost leaks occurred.

I could feel another Group Buy coming on :rofl:

I made a few enquiries and eventually found a supplier who could provide a full set of Silicon Boost hoses for the SMIC's on a 300ZX. These custom made hoses are manufactured slightly longer than the Oem hoses, so they'll also fit the larger aftermarket SMIC's that many of us are now using on the zed.



This is a full set of custom made, heavy duty Silicon Hoses to suit SMIC's on the ttzed.

These are normally priced at $98, but I've negotiated a GB price for forum members of $85.00. We'll need a minimum of 5 starters to get this price. Postage will be $11.20 to your door (anywhere in Oz) and a deposit of $45 will be needed upfront (fully refundable if GB fails to proceed).

The option of adding a full set of SS T Bolt clamps will be available as part of this GB for an additional $26. (normally $36)

Stock is available in Australia, so delivery will be organised as soon as we can get the numbers.

Preventative Maintenance.....

"Why use Silicon hoses and SS clamps when you can't even see them" ?.... was a recent query I received

Preventative Maintenance is the answer

Most TTzeds have had their Intake Boost Hoses replaced by Silicon Hoses or Hardpipes with Silicon couplers. Why ????...... because the Oem hoses have become hard and tend to crack or split, so they are replaced with superior Silicon Hoses (usually at a cheaper price than oem).

How many TTzeds have Silicon Intake Boost Hoses fitted but are still running around with 20yr old oem rubber SMIC hoses

The Intake Boost Hoses are staring at you every time you lift the bonnet, so you can't help but notice they are almost shot whereas the SMIC Boost Hoses are almost impossible to see with the zed sitting on the ground.

This kit will fit ALL oem SMIC's and aftermarket SMIC's that use the standard 51mm piping, and the reason they are (bling) Silicon Hoses and SS T Bolt clamps is so we can know they'll "stand the test of time".... an important factor in Preventative Maintenance

How many members unknowingly running around with "rock hard" (or split) SMIC boost hoses on their zed These hoses are often neglected on ttzeds and are a problem "waiting to happen".

If you have SMIC's on your zed, then this is the kit for you Oem rubber hoses will cost you twice as much as this kit and will only fit the Oem intercoolers.

These hoses are made specifically to fit the ttzed and will fit Oem AND aftermarket SMIC's.

These hoses are in Australia and available as soon as we get the numbers, so do your zed a favour and throw your name on the list.
