I'm curious at this stage as to if anyone has run a 20" rim on the rear of their Z? I'm looking at a staggered widths and +1" fitting for the show scene using some billet rims. Not 100% yet and it doesn't matter if you don't like the idea, I won't feel bad for you but it'll help me decide if I can see a picture or 2 in the mean time. Cheers!
Was a zed for sale not too long ago with 20 on the front and 22 on the rear. Looked like a matchbox car. Eric had 20x10 on his when he got it (before the first v8 swap)
20's aren't in my budget and I don't think would be much good for Sydney roads but any one know what widths and offsets will work to gone max dish without stretching the tires and rolling guards? Just curious.
Just to expand on this: the handling of the car felt instantly and unbelievably better when they were removed.
Cheers guys, I'm looking at 19x8.5 fronts with 20x10 rears. The ONLY way it would look good is by tucking the rim hard on the rear and a little tyre on the front. I'm running 19's in staggered fitment atm but I wonder if I dropped the rears down to the stops if it would bottom the tyre on the tubs. Probably, but why not just bag the lot and drop it like it's hot on all 4
Thanks Anti mine are 20x8.5 20x10 rear no major issue just needed to lip the rear guards but those wheels wont be there for long staying same size but im after a set of rotiform super concaves my Lexani s are going. Meh, i'm more of a max dish man, for our Z32 model cars. It just seems more appropriate for the shape.
Hey Rob asked my mate he said any of our 3 piece wheels cor has concave also rotiform, gas concave all 3 piece and Any width up to 13 so 18x11 shouldn't be a problem why not 19s Rob so you can fit bigger brakes If you find some thing you like pm me the pic and I'll get you prices
Cheers mate, I already have an AccuAir valve system and height monitoring computer for the next stage, but I'm still trying to find a quality airbag strut system to bolt into the Z. Might make something myself if I can't find anything, if I find the time.
sorry for hijack DUB 18's handle better ,its not just for show. rims have to be light can get te37 at 11's ..if I went custom it would be 12. are these cor super comcave ?
