VIC RACE car or road car I almost never use? My 92 zed for sale

I have decided to sell my road car and use the money to finish the race car.

This car was completely rebuilt and repainted in 2005 it presents as a NEW car with all new mouldings rubbers etc etc.

Any parts that looked ordinary where replaced.

IMO its one of very few top end cars on the forum in presentation and while most zeds all look good in pictures. Very few look 100% in the flesh.

This one does.

Price is $19500 or near offer. Dont even bother low balling me. It has had $30K in parts spent on it, plus the cost of the car and could save someone a heap of time and effort if they are going to rebuild themselves.

No labour was costed in that as I did all the work myself.

Every bit of preventative maintenence possible has been completed and the car has a BRAND NEW Nissan gear box.

It has done the grand total of 9000klms in 5 years since rebuild.

Remember, You get what you pay for with Z32's. Until you see this car in the flesh you cant appreciate the work and attention to detail that has gone into it.

As a bonus, you also get a set of 4 lightweight 17 inch alloys fitted with RE55 semislicks for when you go to the track

 

Some one's going to save a lot of money and screwing around that's for sure.

But yeah, selling the zed is a mistake in my opinion. Especially after all the work that has gone into it to make it what it is today.

Well issue is I wont give it away. If I cant get close to the mark I have set it will stay in the garage.

I have done on average 1500klms a year in it and the rego and insurance is like a weight around my neck. Added to the fact I havent got another 10K to throw at the race car to finish it.

Think I would drive the race car more than this one.

Lets see what happens.

Silly part is for someone to get a car to the same standard as this and pay someone to do it. I doubt they would have change out of $45-50K.

I estimate I spent 1200-1400 hours working on this to get it to this stage. Would have hated to have to pay anyone to rebuild it.

Just hope it goes to someone who will look after it.

Price isnt going anywhere. I dont "NEED" the money but it will make the race car come on sooner.

well, luckily no one looking to buy a Z has 20k their prepared to drop on one.
Sad but true, being worth 20k wont always end up meaning someones willing to pay for it
i think the cars worth every penny, so atleast i see you holding onto it for a few more yrs at that price

but if it does sell can i come take her for a quick spin?

 

Issue is buy a POS zed then spend 20K+ and 3 or more years fixing it up.

Or pay the price and HAVE IT NOW.

Sometimes people can see value, sometimes not. Funniest bit is the new people buying 3K zeds posting on the forum, then 3 months later coming back and saying they spent 6K on it. AND IT STILL LOOKS LIKE ASS.

 

i can see the value. i love red zeds. if i wanted another one this is a freakin bargain.

 

been in this car many times, love it love it love it. great zed, very comfortable perfect interior, very nice on the road, very smooth, powerful, and best of all it really does look new everything has been changed on it. pretty much nothing to touch, has great interior, stereo, kit, etc...

good luck with sale graham, and thats only coz i want to see that race car finishedd cant wait to be in it , otherwise id be killing u for selling it or atleast try to kill u lol
