Z is in with A2ZED at the moment. The clutch has been a PITA to use for nearly 12 months, shuddering, squealing and slipping under acceleration if the gear change was a little harsh. Turns out it is worn down to the rivets. Talk about wringing the last bit of life out of it Can't complain. Nearly 2 years of zedding without spending any money at all. So now time to give a bit of TLC and spend some cash. I'll be interested to find out if Eric can identify what brand if clutch it was.
Can't remember the brand off the top of my head, but it is a quality cushion button piece. Also going with a full custom clutch this time. Getting built toomorrow. I have the wastegate diaphragms sorted, Cummins fuel system part Need to spend some time on the lathe and machine up new diaphragm cups and adjusters to get them all done and working like new.
So it was 2 years ago that you bought the burgandy bullet? Strewth. Time flies. It's also good to hear that it has been behaving itself. It truly is a wolf in sheep's clothing. :br: <--- this is a bald, hard toy shop imports tyre burnout (I hope you replaced those)
You should advertise that you can rebuild these wastegates, because as you know they are basically unavailable from Trust/Greddy. 1.6 Bar, Here I come again. I've missed you
Sounds like it's time to let it go man. It'll be worth more in bits. To kick things off, I'll take that wing.
Clutch started slipping in August 2010, so I've been a VERY good boy. I'll now be in for some serious re-training
