It was hardly a tech/detailing day but it was good fun to catch up with Paul and Doug again and it was damn nice of them to stop off and donate their afternoon to helping me get last weekends mud and dust off the car before it has to go and look pretty. It all started with a bit of a wash......... After that it was into the shade for some closer attention for my poor old paint.......... Once we were all finished the car actually looked quite good.....considering all the track work it has done over the last 12 months I'm amazed it is holding up so well. Paul had to leave so Doug and I retired to the bar for a refreshing beveridge. This photo also shows for Amy and Nadines benefit that Doug is holding to his word. The car is all strapped down on the trailer now ready for tomorrows track day (MSCA round 2, Haunted Hills) and I've promised the guys to keep it looking clean, so no off track adventures......
I've got one thing to say........ Holy Shit!! Dougy has hair!!!!!!! When did that happen??? Oh, and the car looks good too Sorry I couldnt make it.. Just got home now.
If I'm going to see a car getting washed, I expect skimpy clothes, wet T-shirts, high heels, say no more! :zlove:
Sorry Dino, Jen had to work and I didn't think any of the guys would have impressed with skimpy gear, although Doug was showing a lot of leg........
"TT and T"? Would that refer to the tiered tummy and tubby? To put any rumours to rest, Elizabeth (she doesn't like to be called 'Liz') had nothing to do with it... she's been (pun->)Warned(<-pun) off! The hair came about as a result of a dare made at the Vic Xmas gettogether last year when I was challenged by two lovely ladies, Amy and Nadine (wives of Krausy and Big Col respectively) to not cut my hair for 12 months. What you see is three and a half months worth, and it's totally shitting me! I am going to win, although there was no mention of prizes or penalties. I am allowed to keep the beard trimmed.
It will continue to shit you for a while yet Doug, it gets much worse before it gets better. Once it's long enough to tie back out you'll wonder why you ever bothered with haircuts before though.
Once again, sorry for being a no show mate. Wife woulda killed me if I left them at home to fend for themselves while they were sick....
