count me in for the 16th - need help learning how to take off the inner door cards/ trims & repaint the window switch surround & air con vent surrounds from silver back to black & meet some members.

Further to my previous post, I'd really appreciate someone with some basic body work skills and/or tool to offer some advice. Prior to purchasing the car it has nudged something with the front bar. This has pushed the rubber between the head light and the bar out a bit, and also caused the nose panel to sit in a "not flush" position (see photos below). Looks like I will have to remove the front bar if I'm going to adjust the door height (photos also below), so if someone can have a look and offer some advice that would be great. Also looking for similar advice on front quarter panel. Looks like someone has gone crazy with a jack. Result being that undercarriage is crushed forcing the quarter panel to sit out slightly from the door (see photos). These aren't major problems and you don't tend to notice them unless you look for them, but I see them and I'd love to get them fixed. So if there is anyone who is willing to cast and eye and some advice over these jobs I greatly appreciate it. Also if someone has a jack to lift the doors with could you bring it please !

 

Ive taken my door trims off countless times, so I'll be able to help here , I'll bring my mates trim tool too so we dont break any tabs

 

Mine will be coming off too. Have a couple of new speakers to install, and if the parts arrive from murci's big CZP delivery I'll have some new window rollers to install. Anyone going to the tech day done their window rollers??

Hey Zac, got my hydraulic spring compressor. If you have time, you can pay me a visit here at home. Bring the springs and we might be able to use my stock shocks as well for yours. We'll put them on...

 

Sounds good, except I can't drive the car without rego, so I can't bring the car, but I could bring the springs, we can get it on the suspension, then we could get it on the car later

We can try fitting in the springs to my stock shockers. And test the compressor as well.

By the way guys, I will be bringing in some bits and pieces as well on the tech day for the trade/swap thingy. Will be getting rid of my stock tail lights, pair of *bomex/greddy* electric side mirrors, AFM's among many.

Can bring the hydraulic spring compressor also upon request for anyone's use...
