Hey all, Figured I'd list a EOI here for a Nistune board considering a lot of members don't frequent the wanted section... Is there anyone who might have purchased a Nistune board who is willing to part with it? Keen to purchase if so... If not, this thread could be the start of a new group buy.
Average nistune to buy from Nistune direct is about $265 delivered... Although, in past group buys they have been a lot cheaper! Chrispy has run the past 3 group buys. And done a fantastic job too. If there is enough interest, I will PM him and see what the best way to go about it is...
Depending on what Nistune quote of course. Will have to see... Lets say it should be under $200 posted or close to for 10+ boards...
speak to your tuner first, usually you will end up paying more purchasing the nisstune seperatly and getting it installed then tuned, then just getting everything from the same guy...
This is probably best. If you are doing it yourself on the other hand I'm happy to do it again if people are keen. Need 10+ to make it worthwhile. I def recommended buying the software license too.
Hmmm not necessarily... Ecu socket: $50 Nistune: $200 Tune: $300 (2 hours) Total: $550... Ask around.... Haven't seen any tuner offer that sorta price as yet
Would be keen as dude if u are as u know the ins and outs if the mistune gb already as u demonstrated 3 times b4.
ofcorse if you are tuning it urself your a winner, wish i knew how to tune when i was looking into this from my tuner it was like $100 different or so and i didnt bother getting it seperatly if u factor in what they offered drive in drive out... 550 is cheap as if that would be ur total price :zlove:
I may be interested, I also have a question. I may be interested, although there seems to be a long way to go before filling up the quota for this group buy. Also, does anyone know if it's necessary to have a working knock sensor in order to get a optimum tune (max power within the safety limits). I was told by MRC that a working knock sense is essential to get the most out of Nistune, or something along those lines.
i am interested in a Nistune board.. given a few answers to these questions.. A nistune increases the tuning ability of the car does it also open the potential for more horsepower ? Cleaner running ? AFR's ? Also, does tuning have to be done via a dyno or is it a "self learning" ecu adaption where it learns and tunes while you drive dependant on what modifications you have done to the vehicle / /
Has this kind of fallen flat? So if I want the Type II board and Licence, the total cost would be ~ $200 (Board) + $150 (licence) + shipping? What about cable requirements? A USB consult cable needed for connectivity to laptop?
