Well a few months back I bought Bluebloods old zed which needs a fair bit of work still to come but I decided I would start with the interior first. So i drafted a few ideas on what I wanted it to look like and I found a seller on Ebay from USA who made the seat re-trims/gear knobs/armrests in either real leather or synthetic, I went all out and got leather with nice red stitching to match :D Then I went on to cover all panels in suede which I thought was a nice touch. So thought I would put a few photos up and see what you guys think. I am still waiting for my Momo Millennium Evo wheel to show up which will be the final touch on what I think is a complete make over.

    Enjoy.
    Luke.

It's normally just natural steel, I haven't seen a painted one yet.

Top effort mate, would you consider doing up leather retrim kits and selling them on the forum? :D

Can you give us some more details? Tell us if you are happy with the quality of the leather, the fit etc. Do you have a link to the seller? Did you buy the suede separately? Can you give us an idea of cost? Did you do the trimming yourself? Any progress photo's? What was easy and what was difficult?

    Thats the seller's store.

The quality of the leather is outstanding and it smells real nice to :p I bought the suede from spotlight for about $20 a metre. As for the fit I would say its pretty good just need a lot of patience when trimming the seats the more time you spend on it the better it looks. The seller on ebay was so helpful with everything he can do many combination's of colors and stitching.

Is it difficult to apply the suede to the panels? Is this something a novice can attempt or do you have training/skills?

I had no previous experience in anything like this before, the panels were very easy, just make sure you get a glue that holds tight and you will be fine

I went to bunnings and got Parfix Fast Grip Contact Adhesive it comes in a tin, once applied you get about 40 mins usable working time with it and it holds on tighter than stock.

So are the seats upholstered in leather or is it the genuine leather seat covers the sellers is selling?
