Well I,m doing it my 300 has always been ballet proof From when I bought it driving it from Sydney to Alice Springs in Summer and doing over 300 Hard runs at the Drag strip, it never let me down Once then driving it down to Brisbane after a plenum pull and I forgot one pissy hose at the back of the motor for the turbo,s and lucky for me i had plenty of gauges to moniter its health. The local towtruck driver from longreach Let me use his Hoist and tools to fix and 2hrs later and Iwas on my way, he was a lifesaver for me, Any way got to brisbane, wnet on a crusie and and it was still strong. It ran out of rego and since I have a work car it be a good time to pull her to bits and replace and fix everthing I can, So i'll be doing the Interior, new paint job with a new wing and fronbar (old one was 80%sticktap) Engine/gearbox out, clean and paint waht i can, new seals, timingbelt kit, new clutch, new turbos and anything eles taht need replacing. Now some pics Before I pulled it apart it looked like this. front bar gone to Dump and getting ready to strip. The Gearbox all cleaned up and ready to go back in. The Engine coming out together. Engine stripped and waiting for parts, and yes I eep it covered. Ingine all cleaned from dirty oil leaking from rockers. I started doing the Interior myself, but got halfway and bought a whole new one redone in leather instead. Front seats, rear seats, all the trim bit and door molds redone I real cow leather and never used, so Brand new. Will update in 2 months or so for back to gether pics Toddlepip

How did you get the gearbox so clean? i cleaned my last one and it was nothing like that when i finished.
First I cleaned it, then a sand in all the noks and crannys then a paint with good quilty paint and a clear as well to seal it, new front and rear seals to.
SMALL UPDATE Painted rocker covers and cromed plenum, just waiting for all the new Gaskets from Z1 MS The gear box again and the Big Dumps, Black Very VERY high temp paint. More in a few weeks when I get the Timing belt kit, the Clutch othe Fiddley Bits
INTERIOR DONE just need new pod holders and floor mats All in Real LEATHER Passenger side and door trim Back seat Engine Bay Boot is done to but havent taken pics Yet.
