My Powertrix rear strut bar came with enough moulding for a 2+0, but need more for a 2+2, what have you used??

    Thanks in advance Andrew

I used 4mm or 6mm vac hose. Looks pretty decent and the ends meet under the bar so you don't see them.
TIP: just make sure you make the holes big enough, because surprise surprise the bar moves around alot, it'll shred your vac hose after a while if the bar is within like 5mm of it.

Yea I did that on the front brace where the fuel lines go through the holes so they rest/rub on the soft rubber.

    Cheers mate...
Just got a reply from Charles at Powertrix also:
"Door moldings work well as long as they are flexible enough and what we found to work really well is a small diameter vacuum hose either in rubber or silicone and create a split down the side so you can fit it on to the plastic"

Would have done it if the Powertrix was a 3 piece but it is a solid 1 piece unit.

In that case, cut your holes, the cut a slot straight down so you can still get them over the brace. I have that brace and that's what I did. Then I ditched the lot later anyway, as you can see. :p
