I moved to Japan from Australia and my wifes brother in law had a Z32 sitting in yard untouched and in bad shape so I asked him about it and he gave it to me.

Since then ive been working on it as the previous owner he got it from had put all this cheap plastic over the interior and also had not cleaned engine or anything..
I've been replacing the interior with stock parts to restore it.
Any feedback or advice would be great as its my first time doing this!...
It's had two owners since that for sale post.
Judging by the receipts, the car was floating between Coffs Harbour and Brisbane between 2014 and 2019, and the owner, who originally bought it, did lots of mods in that time. It's now a manual, has LinkECU, upgraded fuel system, radiator, exhaust, intake, suspension, body kit, 600HP T28 turbos, retrimmed interior, brembo...

Hello team,

I think my car is at Tonys Bodyworks in Heatherbrae NSW. It's getting re-painted and the defective panels eithers fixed or replaced. Replaced is my absolute preference.

I have the turbo air scoop and that is going to be fitted.

Unable to figure out how to post pictures in this thread but things are happening.

Cheers,

Hi all,

Yes, this is another project build story.

Just a little bit about myself. Born in the early 90's era from around western Sydney.

I grew up playing the the Gran Turismo games on PS1, and as a starter car I always seemed to fancy the 300ZX or the series 5 RX7. With a fair bit of nostalgia and the fear of never been able to afford one if I didn't get a 300ZX soon, I ended up purchasing a 1989 300ZX TT Auto 2 Seater (Import). It was a dream find due to its close vicinity and dirt...
It had a fair list of fixes, deletions and preventive maintenance work done. It was a fair mess under the bonnet!
Before taking it down to Melbourne, I made a...
