Can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert 2 seater 300ZX to 4 seater? I just bought 1992 300ZX Auto non turbo two seater (Got it for a burgain price). But can't take family with me for a ride.
not 100% I dont think you can. the 2 seater is shorter in length etc to the 2+2 is longer. Im sure theres alot more reasons but to me thats the main one. hope that helps.
Wrong section, silly question, ahh must be school holidays Hang, on no it's not I suppose you could do it, but you wouldn't have change from $30,000 as you would have to lengthen the chasis and bodywork and re-do the entire interior. With the prices of Z's going down at the rate they are today you'll be able to pick a 4 seater up for the same price. No one really likes sitting in the back anyway...

Yeah mate as the others have said, I am sorry to say that you cannot turn a 2 seater into a 2+2 as the 2+2 is longer than the 2 seater, there is nowhare to put the extra 2 seats, unless you chop your car, add the extra length, reweld it together, retrim it all, etc. Far easier (& cheaper) to just buy a 2+2
E-type limo If you can make a limo out of a Jag E-type or a Ford Capri, surely you can do the same with a ZED. Might be a lot cheaper to trade though. Lots more at http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/limonov1.htm
Actually you can change them You need to get a complete long rear cut which has been cut low in the windscreen pillars.You will need the targas and tailshaft also. You will also need doors. Waste of money and time ! IMO
Suuure there is just get a shell from a 4 seater, spend like a solid month transferring over all the gear, then look for the xtra bits on here, spend a HEAP of money on the engine for TT upgrade etc. Easy! oooor Sell what you got n buy a 4 seater. :zlove:
