A weekend in Coffs Harbour

I will now get confirmed pricing for accomodation.

We will arrive on Fri 12th OCT. Depart times from different areas to be advised if you are travelling down/up with other zedders
Jamie & Linda(misszen) are planning a cruise route for Sat 13th which I believe will include the Wintersun route, possibly finish at Fishermans Wharf for lunch, details to follow.
Dinner at a nice restaurant Sat night. Venue & cost to be confirmed.
Sun 14th will be an informal get together in the morning, Park Beach maybe where we can chill for a while, swim etc & say our farewells before heading home.

Update on accomodation

Thanks to BigZ & his lovely lady looks like we will be able to get a subtanstial discount at this resort Www.breakfreeaanukabeachresort.com.au
Just waiting for info on room availability etc, will keep you all updated.

Id be happy to organise part of the NSW cruise on the way down (not that i necisarily know where im going either haha)..
but it'd be nice to go down in a group. (this could turn out to be a small Z fest haha)

 

Ill be cruising up! (; the roads to coffs from tamworth.should be pretty dam fun aswell!

Which way are you travelling up?

 

Well there are 3 main routes .
All go towards Sydney.

Then one branches off towards tamworth
One goes to armidale
And one goes up the coast more (shortest)

Where are all the other zedders coming from ? I'll try to plot a route to suit group majority

 

Well if you go through tamworth.youll go through armidale and over dorrigos

 

Over the mountains via glen innes through grafton for those that are lucky!

Most exciting drive route I have ever had - beats mt panorama - lol

Awesome corners - the Z just loves them!
Truly invigorating drive.


Dont forget that Coffs has the best pie shop in Australia!
There are lots of good pie shops in Oz - but these have been voted as No1 by lots of places and people. Its a must do if you like a pie every now and then
Ridgey Didge Pies - how do they make the best pies?
There trick and claim to fame is to handmake them on the day only so that the pastry is as fresh as you can get - they bake them just before you eat them so they melt in your mouth.
The most popular is the logger pie - worth trying its yummy - but there are so many selections that most people will see a pie that really appeals to there taste buds and get that.

honey soy chicken, steak dianne, morrocan lamb, chicken mornay. tandori chicken, sayey chicken, thai sweet chilli chicken, mexican and sour cream, honey soy bacon and chicken and almost every variant of steak that you can think of are some of the selections!


The wintersun carshow was awesome - will show some pics soon of some big motors with some wheels attached to them - was a huge show with lots of nice classic cars
