Yeah was lucky I know its bad to say (especially in here) but on the scale of things, the car really isnt a worry, it did it's job. There's no way a commodore or falcon would stand up to that kind of battering. Not religious but it has passed thru my mind a couple of times recently. And yeah the pillar gauge's and housing look fine, boost + volts No cruise and ill have to check the rims out, may be damaged When i get the car back ill make a list of every working item with pics and prices
Sorry to hear about your car but glad to hear your here. Anyways it looks kinda funny that your car is next to a ferrari.
That's insane... forget the lotto ticket you've used up a lifetimes supply of luck in one outing... I won't mention what stunts like this do to insurance premiums because that would be heartless.
Lucky you and your friend are still here, i crashed my zed when i didnt even have my license, bent preety much every suspension part on the left hand side, but ohh boy what a lesson that was, it still haunts me today, 6 months later. I was interested in the brembo rotors, but why not keep all your good parts that you can use when u buy another zed ? Anyway...if you decide to sell parts please let me know price and stuff for the brembos. But dont worry, we all make mistakes, next time think twice.
Glad to hear that u are OK after that! Good to see the safety of the Zeds structure too I thought i'd put my name on the vulture list for manual GearB related parts ie. clutch, master cylinder etc. and maybe the AC pump... any AM suspension parts? CheerZ All the best, surely it will only get better from now on
I'll express first claim to the manual and pedals etc. Shoot me a PM with your home details and phone number and I'll call you about it. I can also help if you need a hand pulling anything apart.
Same here. If you need help pulling it apart, let me know. Not just..... for the stuff I may want, but in general. I'm sure me, you and Pete and strip that poor thing pretty quick. CheerZ Vincent
Don't worry..... There is a tech article on how to fix the bent antenna mast I'd be just another vulture, but i've already bought everything I wanted Nothing left to do with my Zed now ... Feels like a very sad day indeeeeed. Fate...
Wreck day Ok great that sounds good im getting the car back tonight and im going to start stripping it on the weekend, if you guys are keen for some bits and pieces we can have a wreck day
Wreck Day sounds good. Take off the stuff that is easy to remove..... and PM me and Wykked as to when you may want to remove the more difficult stuff. CheerZ Vincent
