Rubbish, you purchased my CAS

 

First up after my first Zedfest and meeting new friends and after talking to Graham GMBREZZO i've decided to join the forum under my own name instead of using my wife's terryt13 to post things so i'm using lloydt13 now .Our first Zedfest was a good trip even though my lovely wife ended up under the weather for most of the event but we made a lot of new friends that welcomed the oddity that is our Z49 Mercury , our plan had been to join the fun but be in the back ground or off to one side so when GMBREZZO said how are we going to judge the car i'd looked at him funny and said HEY?????????? he just smiled and said your part of the crew your cars getting judged so we just went with it , but i think it was poor Procky z89 with a judging sheet asked what year do i put down ? well i said it looks like a 49 Mercury its DNA is 1990 Z32 and it's rego as a 2012 car, he wrote all three years down .. The one thing we now know from the trip is the Leichhard Hwy is no good for Terrys back but the New England Hwy is fine even though it makes it a longer trip and for those that meet Terry will be happy to know that she was back in the drivers seat sharing the driving home Tue and Wed..The Car ran perfect for the whole trip the only hic up on the way home was in the middle of Toowoomba a white polly plumbers pipe joiner ended up jammed under the car so we pulled up on the side of the road and im on my tummy reaching under the car to free this fitting and had Terry reverse slowly to get it out from the front of the car and away we went on our trip , that night at a motel in goomeri i find that i no longer have my mobile phone BUGGER! But as luck would have it a guy in Toowoomba has found my phone in the gutter and managed to get in touch with me and is posting it back to me , you can be lucky sometimes. Zedfest was a great event full of wonderful people and we Thank you again for the friendly welcome we got from everyone ..Lloyd & Terry

It was both a pleasure and a privilege to have yourself, and your wife Terri (despite her illness ), at Zedfest with your amazing piece of 300ZX engineering... You said to me that you'd been worried that you might have to "duck and cover" when unveiling your wife's beautiful Z49 Mercury to us all, but I'm glad that we all showed you that you needn't have worried, ha, ha... She might not look like a Z32, but that's exactly what makes your amazing build so unique, and so cool!

Now i do have some video footage of the Z's and Cyclops first 3 run's at the 600 even though we were so far away from the track, but i will have to work on that little project to get it on my computer , crop it and figure out how to post a video on here so stay tuned and i'll see how i go ..Lloyd

 

Ok we'll see if this worked , i have cropped the 20 min footage of different car's at Gunnedah 600 sprints down to just 7 min and only the 3 cars from our group from Zedfest , Anthony , Magic Mike and Justin .. its a bit shaky because of how far i had to pan out for the footage ..Lloyd

1st zed for me and had an awesome time even though it took 14 hours there and another 14 back.

I would like to thank Procky again for convincing me to go in the car show judging , I was very happy just to be there meeting a lot of great people & having a good time & also Thanks Again to Graham for going out of his way, sending me the trophies that I won through the mail, (Still can not believe it ) ,
I know there where a lot of nicer Zeds there than mine.
If anything it has given me more inspiration to keep her as good as possible & keep on maintaining & fixing/cleaning etc etc etc all those things that our Zeds need
