i would have come if i knew what date it was, it helps if you put the date in the title. was this a day cruise or a night cruise?

 

It was a day cruise, i couldnt go coz i was away @ wedding as i posted previously

i though it was night.. because over half the thread was going on about the cruise being on at night.. then all of a sudden i got a pm saying it was am.. know me i dont read everything properly and i just assumed it was night...

and as if u read the post. it was a day run on the 10th. i pmed all concerned and said it would actually be run on the 9th to avoid unexpected trouble.
the night run if u read aazn was a seperate run, in which me and my mates go on now and then. good to see and meet ozbek there.

i dunoo. i was one pissed off zedder after this went to shit and ppl didnt notify. pretty poor effort but its in the past.
haha i would like to come to one of these weekly moutain runs.

It was both at night and morning. From all the support I saw on this thread I thought there would've been more than 2 ZX's going... All I can say is my support goes to Rod, for organizing everything, and turning up, and even going a head with the cruise when there was only 2 of them.

I didn't think winter would affect everyone that much , and don't worry you did everything right Rod, just would've been nice for you if people let you know what they were doing.

The reason why he didn't mention the date was because he didn't want too much heat on it, and its also a good idea cause it would show him how many people are actually dedicated to show up.

 

Sorry to hear about the cruise & I don't mean to jump in, but this drive sounds rad, would it be considered to re-organize a new cruise at the same location Rod? I just scored a new job & have $$$ again, I don't even mind driving down from Sunbury just to show I'd be interested for it.
Anyway just trying to put a positive on it.

From my experience with my own cruises (3 so far), during winter time is a bad idea. The very cold weather deters alot members from going including myself. I had 2 zedders come to my second mid year cruise in june 07, i had plenty of interest from members, but got a low turn out one the night but this was due to the freezing weather and the fact my cruise is in the western suburbs and most of the members on here are located in the SE subrubs so quiet a drive to meet in altona. Summer time suits alot more members as the other two cruise ive had at least 5+ zeds in attendance. I try to set my cruises to fit into December - Feburary. I also think the whole not having the date in the title to save the cruise from police presence could have contributed to the low numbers. I always post all times and cruise info on the thread, and the cruise even drives past a police station. If your afriad of police presence then dont cruise there.

Dont let this failed attempt stop you from hosting the same or other cruises rod. Its worth the fun in the end you just gotta find the right cruise for yourself and the rest of the forums like big col and the GOR cruise.
