Can we get some confirmed names and details on what is happening for the easter weekend?

I am thinking of attending, without my 300zx :bash: as its still in the sheds

Some of us will be arriving on Thursday night, and the rest Fri/Sat

What is happening Fri, Sat, Sun and Monday?

I have been busy with work and i cant follow all the threads about it.

    Thanks :zlove:

Happy Zed'in and see you all at Cowra

    READ the thread.:p :D
Friday : Everyone arrives at their accomodation, meet up & have a few drinks, talk Zeds :D etc.
Saturday : Mini Tech Day, sight seeing & Cruise.
Sunday : Golf (early), Show n Shine, Presentation Dinner.
Monday : Happy Zedders leave Cowra & travel home.
That's just a brief outline, as I'm sure that there will be lots to keep you busy.
    Cheers

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

    What would be handy

is a full attendance list including who is staying where and an itinerary for meetings/events. Although it would be hard as there are a few different motels, etc involved where people are organising themselves.

There may be something like this already, but the original cowra thread is too big now to go over.

I think it'll be a case of we see what we see when everyone shows up.

Unfortunately it is a little hard to get an actual list of who is attending and about the only things that are definate at the moment is that the show and shine will start between 10.30 and 11.00 on Sunday and the Presentation dinner is booked, but baz hasn't posted what time (or if he has I can't find it). Even the Golf is still up in the air, although there is a standby booking for 7.30 at Canowindra if the Cowra course is booked out.

The saturday timetable is a little flexible at the moment as the start time for the cruise is largely dependant on where it goes and how long it goes for and the BBQ dinner afterwards is being hald at the caravan park and run by us so it can start when we are ready.

With some people arriving on Thursday and some on Friday and all travelling different distances the Saturday morning is traditionally left a little loose to allow everyone to find their own speed.

    I agree....

there should at least be a meeting point posted prior to arrival.
It's great to say meetup but where?

The caravan park is the central meeting point. It will be the meeting point for everything. Times will be given out as soon as they are known.

Guys, this isn't some big dollar event where every activity is carefully planned down to the second. It is a fun gathering of zed enthusiasts.

With a bit of luck I'll have a rough timetable completed by Wednesday (still waiting for a couple of events to be finalised) so everyone will have a rough idea of when to be where. Of course if it pisses down with rain everything will have to be revised. At the moment the forcast is for a possible shower on Friday with Saturday clearing and Sunday fine. Tops of 29 for both days.

    Couple of points

For the weekend, 98 octane petrol is not as plentiful up here as it normaly is, so bring some octane booster just in case you can't get any.
Also its a double demerit and fines weekend up here, so watch your speed, because i dare say mr plod will be out in force collecting the revenue.

OK, here is a rough timetable that will be amended on the fly if needed.

    FRIDAY
Arrival for those who didn't arrive on Thrusday. Sort yourselves out and at some point in the evening swing past the caravan park so you know where it is. This will also be important because it will help us work out who is satying where and advise people if there are any last minute changes.

    SATURDAY
At present it is proposed to hold a cruise starting at approximately 11.00am. Depending on location and duration this might or might not involve lunch, hopefully in a nice country pub somewhere. Meet point for the cruise will be the caravan park.
The afternoon can be spent cleaning cars or exploring the local area. Jen wants to go and see the japanese gardens so we will be departing for there, feel free to follow on. We will be holding our traditional "Round Table" on Saturday evening starting at 5.30, so all those present who want to talk to "The Mods" can wander down and yell at us. This will be followed by a BBQ, with the meat very generously provided by our local Cowra member Andrew (oneforme), with additional BBQ extras provided by the Association. BYO drinks.

    SUNDAY
Golf, teeing off at 7.30 at Canowindra for those who are playing. The rest of us will get to sleep in a little before putting the finishing touches to our cars for the show and shine which will start at approximately 10.30. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax and wander around the town, until 6.30 when the greatest Zed awards night to ever be held in Cowra kicks off the the Bowling club. The night will end when it ends.

    MONDAY
Wake up, pack up, say goodbye and then head off for the long drive home.

It is possible that this plan may need to be amended, in which case we will do our best to notify everyone of any change with as much warning as possible.

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

And for anybody that arrives on Thursday, or early enough on Friday, a few of us Vics are hoping to get to Bathurst to see what the "Festival of Sporting Cars" is all about.

This is the first time it's been held; quite a few clubs are holding displays etc. Might be an idea for Zedfest 2010 to be at Bathurst?????????
