looks like NO2 injection to me?

yes you are correct, but it seems like another top feed fuel system. Very similar...

that is the top feed rail i was talking about a few posts up

NOW THATS A FUEL RAIL THAT FIXES ALL ISSUES

superior flow -8an single in/out feed
    total thermal isolation
    ease of injector removal.
can use high impedance up to 1000cc (go more if you want to use low impedance)
and cheaper in comparison to other rail kits

    anyone want to argue? :)

That's a direct port nitrous set up, it would run nice and cold :p

You can see the top of a border or 300deg rail peeking out in the bottom left corner of the piccy.

And I love that top feed set up, if I play with another VG, I'm getting that!

agree totally, this is the best solution bar none ATM.

Yep, seen both of these in person. The top is MattZ's top feed. Met him at ZCon last October when he debuted his top feeds. I should post some pics I uploaded a few weeks back that show a few different angles of them.
The bottom is IIRC RaimeyZ's monster engine. It's a very healthy TT in a vert with direct port nos injection. The rest of his vert (outside and inside) is just as refined. He's a very accomplished wrench turner. Those of you long time members may remember pics of a Z owner whos garage that's attached to his house is two stories high and has numerous lifts to accomodate about 8 zed's inside at one time. He and another zedder helped me out big time at a Z meet at the Tail of The Dragon meet last year at ZDayZ when my fuel pump control module crapped out on me.

wouldnt ceramic coating trap the heat in the lines!!!

if your worried about heat soaked fuel lines. just wack in a external fuel cooler on the return line... pretty simply really :D

that top pic isnt top feed injectors its wet nos one line to the nozzle is fuel and one nos. Looks like he is running 300deg rails look carefully at the left rail down the bottom you can see the strap holding the injector in. Yes bottom pic is top feed though.

yea but how cool would it look. I was going to do one for a trial just to compare.

No you wouldnt trap heat in the lines. The fuel from the tank is all relativly cooler than the plenum and surrounds. The fuel is taking heat from the plenums. Ceramic coat would help.

Its not like the rail is generating heat and is using external cooling to cool the rail?

Too much Kalgoorlie dust Simmo :) I was out there on Monday. Only stayed a few minutes. That pit doesnt get any smaller does it.

ahhaha in a perfect world they dont trap heat. theres a reason you get your exhaust manis ceramic coated. to trap the heat in... heheheh back in perth now...

Super Pit... pfffff surface work is for girls .. :D:D

    That's just wrong Simmo.

Heat 'flows' from a hotter body to a cooler body. It does it by convection, conduction and radiation. You lower the thermal conductivity and the emissivity of the material, you will reduce the heat transfer. So in a fuel rail case, reduce the heat into it. You have a constant mass flow through the rail which will always be cooler than the surrounding engine and air so there is no way for it to trap heat ;) The rail should always be slightly cooler than the surrounding engine temp.

Oooops, my bad? Put the pics in wrong order. But you figured that out easily enough. :)

    Stock fuel rail

I had custom all rail for top feed injectors and sat above the plenum, which we did about 6 years ago and made 458rwkw. Last motor I had used stock rail although had twin feed and twin return and made 438rwkw. The 300 Degree fuel rail kit is a very nice kit and yes alloy not so good for heat but I doubt very much if this actually shows up on dyno, or an issue with heat, other than psychological. Although managing heat as best as can is good.

In my opinion there are better things to spend money on that willl actually make power tan snazzy rails, and only if you are making BIG power would you consider it. Sorry if I come accross as anti bling again.

Note both the 300Degree rail and stock rail has Bakelite gaskets to stop heat soak.

Finally found my pics that I took of MattZ's Top Feed Fuel Rail debut at last years ZCon.
