I never realised the VG30DETT fitted into these? I would love to have a z31 but really dont like the SOHC motor.
VG30DE and VG30DET are the motors that the z32 engines are based on block is not identical, but is very similar and would be the same size (with a mm for different castings etc etc) there was evena z31 called the 300zr that ahd a vg30de (so a z32 na series motor) as standard.........that was very late in the z31 life cycle, so not heaps sold, but still pretty awesome.
This is the only specs i could find on the 300zr http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=10615
google 300zr and go to images, youlls ee heaps of them. they use the late model z31 body, and a vg30de with the inlet of to the side.
Thanks mate. I have modded slightly: Crows Cams Adjustable Cam Gears Extractors And Exhaust. I love him, he was my first. Nothing suss! Ads
yes ...nice z31 , also nice mods for a na! the vg30e and vg30et are are good motor! and can make good power with larger turbos and intercooler.
My very first car I purchased at the ripe age of 18. Still have it although it needs love. Yeah, still got he 32, I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell them, although some people have tried to get me to! Ads
200zr i started with a 260... then a few more, a 280zx and a bunch of really bad condition Z31 300's, before i got my 200zr which i've had for such a long time now. and only recently my Z32 which brought me to the forums
nice 200zr mate... also, a super rare zenki 200zr looking stunning in panasport G7's 200zr-II with a rb25 swap and big turbine sitting on SSR professors
Tein makes coilovers for the Z31 on special order. They even include a brand new spindle for you too.
