    Anyone know how to tell? Pref a way I don't have to lose all my coolant!

    sandeep the adaptor has no locating hole for the ground wire. should be able to just soiler it on, ill have a look at it when i get one, looks like there are areas were you could drill a hole and screw there but ill take a closer look when i get it...

    zxtt-1 mechanically inept

    As the adaptor is cast aluminium it's VERY difficult to solder a terminal on it for a ground wire. Your best bet is to drill and tap a suitable hole for a small bolt to fit, or do what I did with my current unit, a large eyelet under the temperature sensor.
