Well today has been a great day.... Been up since 9am (When working late shifts thats freakin early), changed the exaust on my Zed, to the crappy silent one. Went out to Rego again, passed without a hitch. But the car hadn't been booked into a vehicle Identity Check, which I had done over the phone and confirmed twice. Luckily they have a 1pm opening, so I went and visited a friend, and came back.Surprise Surprise, The Vehicle has been written off at one stage or another (That doesn't bother me too mcuh as my mechanic has fully checked it out and the chassis and everything else is in good shape), what does anoy me is, they have to email off to NSW and get the details and when it was re-registered. Which will take 24-48hrs, seeing as the Vehicle inspection check is only valid for 1 calender month, and that runs out on monday (even though I have had it retested). So if the papers for this WOV (Written off Vehicle) do not come in before monday, I have to go back up to the rego place (25mins drive, and 30mins screwing around), and do a full test again...The morale to the story: Don't ever trust certain 2nd hand car dealers, they are lying scum bags who will tell you anything to sell you a car. Knowing that it was written off, and avoided having the car checked out by a provessional (Autotech), because the accident would have been picked up.I really should have listened to the people on this forum warning me off the dealer, but the car just looked too good. And I still won't sell it, ever! Today offically Sucks monkey giblets.If you want to know the name of the dealer, either ask me and I'll email you, or do a search. Oh well, on with the zed!! and Back on my good exaust goes, screw that 90db limit! :YD
To anyone thinking of getting a 2nd hand car do a REVS check on it. You can check online for free and if you want proof you can get a certificate for like $10 Hope you get it all sorted soon. Perhaps somebody can turn around the 'written off' status???edit: I did a search and see that you got a REVS check organsised. Did you get a certificate from them?

Did A Rev's Check Came up with nothing on the WOV. Looks like the WOV won't be too much of a problem just time consuming. Lloyd as usual, I am a stubborn SoB, and once I saw the car there was no turning back. Oh well, hopefully some day I will learn my lesson........ probably not today.Thanks for the help everyone, I'd be so stuffed without it! >D<
