email sent regarding some replacement tacho leds

 

Hello. Ive bought heaps of ledz of you in the last year(t10z) and yeh very great with no problems. Only thing that was a problem was the festoon bright white 8 ledz which have over like a month period died. I returned it and got a replacement free and same thing happened. Havnt bothered to let you know again but what can be done. Im not just saying for me but obviously there is a quality problem in those festoon ledz. Not trying to discredit as you did have great t10 ledz which worked fine and very speedy deliver with no hassles.

 

Also does anyone know what type of headlights fit into the zed. I want to change them all to brightwhite/blue. One of the main ones are out so i might as well change all of them. Thax

Well, I bought

some globes and headlight insets from them at ebay. 1 globe lasted less than a day, and I got the response that 'we'll sell you another one at half price' when I complained. Don't hold your breath if you need warranty replacements.

 

H3C, good luck with the whole blue light finding, ps if you have an aus spec it is H3 in which case go to any repco, supercheap or whatever and you can pick them up

Just wanted to let everyone know that I went out to Brightlights Auto Parts today......had a chat with Paul......nice guy who knows his stuff!!!

Paul's an auto electrician by trade......& he has his products made & packaged to be sold under his business name!!....the equivalent product in a retail outlet would be much more!!

I'm about to buy from him.....so as yet I can't comment on durability etc......but the products look well made, well packaged......& I can't say enough for how helpful Paul was!! great customer service so far!!!

So I hope you forum members will consider this Oz business if you are thinking of buying any globes for your Zed???

sorry i am new to the forum and only have just notice how to reply, we have the clear leds for indicators which flash amber when on but dont stock the chrome incandescent globes which flash amber as you mention sorry.

sorry about the late reply as only just realized how to reply etc through forum, the 39mm 8 led we now have in a variety of colours red, blue, green and super white 8 leds which are manufactured to the highest of quality, we test all batch products before offering and can be assured that we stand by all our products and quality control.
new stock is manufactured by a company that we have been dealing with for many years and over this time have had very minimal returns.

Maybe a LED dash kit..??

Hey if you were keen to attract some ppls interest you could find out what all the dash bulbs to replace were and offer a dash replacement LED kit in various colours??
Just a thought as there is a group buy on some replacement white instrument clusters. and a good tech article on how to replace all of them (thanks to Jedi ), so a kit may be a good way to start business.
