    G'day everyone,

Me and a few mates are going to the Western Sydney International Dragway in two weeks for a bit of fun on their Race for real Wednesday.

It costs $20 to watch and $50 to run. Its my first time in my Zed at the drags so it should be a laugh. :br:

All the details are on the site if anyone has any questions.

Hope to see a few of you there.

    Justin

I would love to give it a belt, as is, just for my own curiosity, especially since I'm working close by at the moment.

Have only ever been down to watch wizard, caz and JP but never entered myself. Would love to do it.

So in terms of going, I have my motorbike helmet, so assume no issues there. Guessing you have to wear long pants and long sleeve shirt or whatever, assume it doesn't have to be race suit material ? Is there anything else to look out for ??? Can the car be straight from the road to drags or does it need "catch cans" or any thing else I've heard people gossip about needing in order to pass scrutineering and not loose your $50 and not be allowed to drag???

Always wanted to go, but never wanted to go on my own as I'm just not up to speed about the whole process, from entering and scruit to car setup to staging without looking like a noob. Seems more to it then just showing up and waiting for the lights to go green =)

Do you have to pre-book and pay or do you rock up on the night ???

Show up, aslong as you dont have any bad oil leaks you will pass scrutineering. Long pants, long sleeve shirt or jumper, proper shoes(no sandles or anyshit) and you'll be fine. If needed i have two helmets that are WSID approved that i can bring on the night. Pay on the night really, fill out a form with your name and car details and you'll be fine. On the form it'll say that they check your tyres etc but its all crap, they look under the bonnet to make sure the battery has a clamp over it and to make sure its not leaking oil.

That pretty much sums it up. Other than that have a good time and remember to breath.;)
I've got a few mates making the trip north with me to test there own cars( WRX,SS that sort) so it should be an interesting night.

Im going down with full trim and starndard tyre sizes... see how it goes:br:

I go in full trim too, no point in going any other way. What mods do you have? TT i'm assuming?
