TAS Write off sale - floor mats, TT bags, NA mines ECU, CAS, r33 igniter and more

my 300 got rear ended yesterday :-( I don't expect it will be repairable and im too devastated to buy another 300...

my car was a 1990 ADM NA manual 2+2 - might buy the car back to wreck...

I am selling my spares

I have:

$100 ono - Fairlady Z floor mats - very plush
$80 ono - Targa top baggies
$250 ono - Mines chipped NA ECU (auto but ran ok in my manual)
CAS
$30 - r33 igniter (untested but reported to be ok)
$75 ono - 6 x na injectors with fuel rails (one injector is broken) unknown condition
$20 ono - fresh a/m injector connectors

Likewise, I know how devastating it is to almost lose your Zed (re- my recent engine swap) It would be worse to actually lose it like that.

About those 6 Injector connectors (I assume there's 6!) how much is postage to 3936 Vic? Thanks!

Oh and btw @ SrAfciGeR. You probably didn't intend for it to seem so, but it's considered pretty rude to highjack another for sale post and offer your own goods on it. Even more so considering the owner of that thread has suffered a loss regarding his Zed!

 

Could an admin please update my original post? - I found more parts and have slightly changed prices...

$80 ono - Fairlady Z floor mats - very plush but passenger side has some slight 'brown' stain
$80 ono - Targa top baggies
$250 ono - Mines chipped NA ECU (auto but ran ok in my manual, has at very least a higher RPM limit probably more timing and dif. mixtures - I ran 98 octane just fine with a bypassed knock sensor)
$40 ono - I have two working crank angle sensors
$30 ono - r33 igniter (untested but reported to be ok)
$50 ono - 6 x na injectors with fuel rails (two injectors are broken) unknown condition
$20 ono - fresh a/m injector connectors - I have 10 - all 10 for $20.
$10 ono - fresh a/m CAS connector
$60 ono - pair of un-used intake manifold gaskets
$50 ono - AMD gauge cluster with 240tho kms and a tempermental speedo (works sometimes when warm only, have not attempted to fix)

Thanks :-( I just spent so much time getting it running well... rewiring injectors, balancing throttles, fixing vaccum leaks, o2 sensors, servicing, cluster change, clutch adjustment, replaced brake master cyl, spark plugs changed, chasing a misfire that turned out to be the ignition relay, wiring in an amplifier... and all in all I would have driven it 5,000 kms :-( plus having bought the car from a friend of mine it did have sentimental value as well :-(

I just checked I have 10 injector connectors as well as a CAS connector.

There's no doubt about it, that's a write off.

As far as buying it back & parting it out.
You would have a better idea than anyone else in relation the value of this vehicle concerning undamaged parts.
Good engines are getting hard to come by these days.
That would probably be the highest ticketed item in the wreck.
As you mentioned freight from Tasmania could be a deal breaker.
If you could buy it back at $200 or less it may work out to be a worthwhile venture.
The other consideration is space available, once swinging panels are removed & the vehicle is not under cover things deteriorate very quickly when exposed to the elements.

 

yeah space is a problem... the gearbox is the easiest thing to sell down here. drift kids love putting them in their silvias.

Your insurance company is in the same position - if it can't be repaired & there's too few Z owners in Tas for wreckers to be interested in paying anything for it - just offer them $100 - may well be the best offer they get!

I can only hope! If I can get it for a few hundred I will do it for sure. I have a buyer for the gearbox lined up for $700.

ahh yes! sorry I didnt get back to you...

from memory its not in real good shape... But I think the damage is actually the pod is screws into, not the actual manual pod itself.

im stripping the car tomorrow. ill take it off and send you some pictures.
