or not? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BRAND-NEW-23...oryZ6782QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem is that conventional size you guys using for 18"?
might be worth checkng what a goodyear outlet would sell them for first ... ??? .. at least you would have some comeback in case of any issues ....????
With a transaction score of only 61 and only 94.2% positive feedback, I would be very wary. Find out the speed rating on the tyres if you're thinking of going ahead. I notice there's a table in the ad but no mention of the tyres actual rating. That tells me the seller has something to hide
says it on the add, speed rating is " W" 270kmh , im guessing they are on par with nanking and if they are ,watch out in the wet My view on tyres is that this is the most important thing to get the very best you can afford ,never ever scrimp on tyres !!!!
W for whoops!! I missed that..... Cheers. Looking at his feedback score I would still be wary....... No way would I purchase off ebay from anyone under 98%.
just found out Regal is made by Dunlop in South Africa, he said made by Goodyear. yeah...some feedback on him were a bit scary...
235 good for front but get something fatter for the rear...personally id say nothing less than 255 for the rears.
Cheap.. Probably similar to Nankang NSII which I purchased from these guys in NSW and got sent to W.A... Worked out cheaper for me to buy the tyres over east http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BRAND-NEW-23...ihZ012QQcategoryZ6782QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
federal tyres are the way to go, go visit some of your local tyre shops and get a quote. you will be surprised. very grippy too.
i have just got the car pretty recent. the wheels are stock 16" with 4 brand new simex 225/50/16 on all four. i intend to change to 18" wheel when these tyres worn out. none the less i am now starting to eye on quality wheels and tyres with an intention to grab them when the price is right. i suppose there is no expiry date on tyres LOL ...so i can keep them even long before my simex dies out. As for simex so far no problems probably partly being new tyres plus I am not that aggressive driver, but i heard simex has built a good reputation on 4WD and they are made and used Dunlop mould in malaysia, where quality control are more stringent than in China or thailand for that matter. i dunno.
Nexen N3000's for me. Had them on the car for about 6 months now and I'm delighted with them. Good wet weather grip and excellent in the dry
Now there's a man who knows(I'm on my 4th set of NEXEN N3000's and loving them). Price wise, 235/40/18" Front & 265/35/18" Rear $820 fitted and balanced. :zlove::zlove::zlove:
if from you Chili...formidable...i take it...no further questions. well fellas..i am the next nexen guy!!!!
Ive been purchasing second hand tyres from Colemans while my camber has been dramictically out. My last pair before i put my camber arms on was a set of Pirelli P-Zeros, $90 each for 245/40/17 (only got 2 rears) with 90 - 95% tread. Good buy if you ask me, even for second hand. Not easy though, with 7 coleman's where i live, i had to drive 150kms to get the tyres that were acceptable. I have the camber fixed and still have the pirellis - they are just brilliant in the wet, reach about 12psi before they start to slip.
4th set ,how many km's are you getting out of a set pepperman i think ill try a set of these when mine are stuffed, but doing 5000kms a year,im not sure if they will still make them when the time comes lol
Sorry Simon, I don't bother keeping track of "Km's", but that is 3 sets in around 4 years of daily driving(just bought set #4 recently).:zlove:
