Hi I have a 1991 300zx tt 2+0 manual, my windshield washer pumps need replacing. With the 1991 model 2 +0, the water bottle and pumps are in the boot behind the passengers side rear wheel arch. Question is there a difference between the location of the bottle and pumps between a Right hand drive model and a left hand drive model car. Need new pumps as seals have gone and don't want to buy used pumps rather buy new. Any ideas where I can buy 2 pumps from? Thanks MIKEA
Take one out and head down to your local wreckers they matched mine from some other car which i can't remember at the moment.
JDM 2 seater pump part numbers below will suit convertible but not the reservoir and pump kit. The USDM 2 seater washer pump systems are in the same position and share the same part numbers below for 04/89 - 09/94 although there is a code 7 which means there are supporting part changes required in latter USDM but will not effect those numbers in the JDM Rear pump and seal only 28920-31P20 07/89 - 10/94 Rear pump and reservoir and fittings complete 28910-30P10 07/89 - 10/94 Front pump only 28920-31P00 07/89 - 10/94 These part numbers are not common to any other ADM or JDM Nissan. But as Dazza said if you look around a wrecker you will find something very similar or you can go aftermarket, Nice Products do a range. 300ZX Z32 10/89-07/97 NWP363 NWP355 but they appear to be for an ADM 2+2 where both pumps are on the front reservoir via a 16mm seal, the rear 2 seater is similar but the front one has two 5mm odd hose fittings so neither of these would fit. If you pull the washer pumps you could use this catalogue for something visually similar, it has inlet and outlet measurements and detail on the electrical connector.
