What have you done to your Zed today?

Spent the day cleaning.

Yesterday I removed clean tint/film from the rear window. Took forever & required a lot of elbow grease to get the sticky residue off.
Below shows 2/3 of the tint/flim removed, you can see the extent of sh!t that needs cleaning off.

This isn't from today, but I also polished up the muffler the other week. It was black before I started.

 

I actually started and DROVE my zed somewhere for the first time in about 4 weeks.......... Bloody Pullstart....... taking up my time...Yay to me.

Had prepped the bonnetfor primer the other day. Just finished the spoiler tonight. Tomorrow will lay primer on said panels. Then start attacking the rear bar.

Followed by hatch, doors and sills, roof and fat ass.... Then the blue begins.

 

cried and still am .... stupid a/c amp box!!!! what a stupid design flaw on nissans behalf. clutch is pwning me in this battle war sacrs forever...

on a side note got some special bling to install soon

 

Test fit 25th Anniversary Edition front bar and some TBO side skirts.

Primed the bonnet and spoiler. Hope the neighbours don't mind the song of a compressor at 9-10pm. Also got my mate to remove the rear bar. So many more bolts holding it in situation compared to the front bar.

 

Replaced s1 a/c pod and amp to s2

tomorrow will be wiring in passenger electrics and putting in some secret 1/4 panel stuff :zlove::zlove::zlove:

 

Fitted 8000k halogens that still look a bit yellow, then drove without power steering.

 

Slap on some GTR wheels haha

haha exactly! now you see why it needs those coilovers, what are those ebay ones like? by the way anti im in love with your zed

 

1. refitted trims
2. rear passenger quarter is at uphosterer to fix the vinyl.
3. replaced old handbrake boot and shifter boot to 2k style (black /w red stitched leather)
4. soldered in passengers electric seat using a loom and plug, so it looks good and factory
5. deciding whether to remove the aus spec b-pillar belts and put in my klippan ones.

 

If you want a cheap set of coilovers either look for second handers, or if your set on getting cheap new ones MDU's are good for what you pay.

i dont want to go full cheap because i want quality to and so far i havn't rushed anything, if i dont have the money then i dont do it. but im just wondering for brand new.ones whats decent for the street? it probably wont see any track us, i have another car for that nigel i dont think i have to many other ones with the gtr wheels on it

 

Took a hammer to the rear quarter panel.

 

Tein super streets are highly recommended around here, So are powertrix. I run MDU's, your welcome to come n try them out.
