Hi all, I just bought a 1985 300zx z31 for a restoration project. I just saw these on the two banks on the engine, does anyone know what they are? I couldn't find these on the FSM.
The non turbo version of AIV . If I recall E.A.I system. I think it stood for Exhaust air induction. Only some FSM show it.
Yeah. I found out it was the EAI system, blocked off. The EGR hose can be seen in the first phot, on the left, running to the EGR valve. Was EAI an Australian requirement? Does anyone have a link to a pdf of the FSM for this particular model?
Yes, it's part of anti pollution. I only have hard copy of FSM that shows EAI system. I can scan the odd image if you need something particular.
It would be great if you can send the scanned page(s) where it shows the EAI system. Thank you. Also, How can I identify the FSM specific to this model?
